The precious research work of the Ohara scholars survived the island’s destruction, thanks to a group of Giants led by Jaguar D. Saul. These Giants salvaged what remained of Ohara’s books and brought them to Elbaf. All of these Giants are members of the New Giant Warrior Pirates crew.

After the Giant Warrior Pirates disbanded, the strong crew led by Dorry and Brogy, who were natives of Elbaf, wanted to continue the legacy of their predecessors. They decided to follow in the footsteps of their fellow countrymen by forming a new group - the New Giant Warrior Pirates.

Hajrudin, the founder and captain of the spiritual revival crew, gathered his childhood friends and set sail with them. A few months after the destruction of Ohara, which occurred 22 years before the current events in One Piece, Hajrudin and his companions journeyed to the island.

On the island, they recovered the books that the scholars of Ohara had desperately tried to save by throwing them into a lake. Guided by Saul, Hajrudin and the rest of the group retrieved the books, a significant act that they may not have fully realized the importance of.

The New Giant Warrior Pirates played a crucial role in uncovering the true history that the Ohara scholars had discovered. This history was something the World Government had tried to hide for so long. Thanks to the Giants who salvaged the books, this important piece of history was not lost forever. In the manga, we only get a brief glimpse of these Giants as they work from afar.

The latest SBS of volume 108 revealed that the Giants involved were Hajrudin, Gerd, and Goldberg from the New Giant Warrior Pirates. The anime adaptation of One Piece episode 1096 accurately depicted Hajrudin and his companions on their mission in Ohara.

Twenty years later, the New Giant Warrior Pirates became part of Buggy’s Delivery, a pirate mercenary group established by Buggy with the help of Crocodile's resources. This group specialized in providing mercenaries to aid those who hired their services. Following the events of the Dressrosa Arc, the Giant Warrior Pirates decided to leave Buggy’s organization and join the Straw Hat Grand Fleet.

Hajrudin defeating Machvise in the One Piece anime showcased his strength and skill as a warrior from Elbaf. From a young age, he trained diligently to uphold the honor of his people. He looked up to his teacher, Raideen, and the respected elders, Jorul and Jarul, who instilled in him a deep sense of tradition and pride.

Inspired by the legendary figures Dorry and Brogy, Hajrudin aspired to continue their legacy by forming a crew that mirrored their values and strength. His determination to follow in their footsteps fueled his ambition to become a formidable warrior and leader in his own right.

Hajrudin, one of Elbaf's most remarkable Giants, is known for his superhuman physical strength. His most powerful technique is Gungnir, a devastating uppercut.

He made his debut in One Piece during the Dressrosa Arc when he participated in the Corrida Colosseum. In the tournament, he battled as a gladiator in hopes of winning the Flame-Flame Fruit. Unfortunately, he was defeated and transformed into a toy by Sugar's Devil Fruit abilities.

When Usopp lifted the curse placed by Sugar, Hajrudin and the other gladiators were finally freed. Grateful for Usopp's actions, Hajrudin ensured that everyone recognized him as "God Usopp," their savior. In return for Usopp's help, Hajrudin decided to join forces with Luffy, Usopp's captain.

Hajrudin played a crucial role in the decisive battle against the Donquixote Pirates. He managed to defeat Machvise, a subordinate of Doflamingo, despite sustaining serious injuries during the intense fight. Hajrudin's determination to repay his debt to his saviors kept him going until he emerged victorious.

Other members of the New Giant Warrior Pirates

After Hajrudin's decision to join Luffy's crew, several other powerful warriors also joined the New Giant Warrior Pirates. They have become trusted allies of the Straw Hats and are committed to sailing under the Straw Hat crew's flag.

So far, in addition to Hajrudin, One Piece has introduced four other members of the New Giant Warrior Pirates. Road, the navigator, is a tall giant with dark blue hair. He is easily recognized by his dark coat, large yellow cape, and a long yellow-striped scarf.

The crew's shipwright is Stansen, who was once a prisoner at the Auction House. Two years prior to the current events, Stansen was freed by Silvers Rayleigh and managed to escape from the Sabaody Archipelago. He later joined forces with Hajrudin and the rest of the crew.

Stansen's captors were only able to capture him because they caught him off guard while he was sleeping. If he had been awake, they wouldn't have stood a chance against him. Stansen had shown incredible strength by being able to break through concrete walls with just his bare hands.

Stansen, a giant with a muscular and sturdy physique, stands out even among his fellow Giants. He sports a black beard, a thin mustache, and is known for wielding a giant hammer. Since childhood, Stansen has been close friends with Hajrudin and Gerd.

Gerd, a friendly and kindhearted Giantess, serves as the doctor for the New Giant Warrior Pirates. She is recognized by her long blonde hair styled in two braids and her striking blue eyes. Gerd is often seen wearing a purple fur garment and although she has never used it, she carries a single-bladed axe.

Goldberg, the crew's cook, is a Giant with dark orange hair. Like his companion Road, Goldberg was born at the same time as Loki, the Prince of Elbaf. He is typically dressed in a gray cape, trousers, and a viking helmet. His preferred weapons include a massive mace and a shield.
