Meet the Powerful Deputy Commanders of the Revolutionary Army

The Revolutionary Army is a highly esteemed organization in the world of One Piece, founded by none other than Monkey D. Dragon – the father of our beloved protagonist, Luffy. Initially, Dragon had created a group known as the Freedom Fighters, which advocated for a more peaceful approach in achieving their goals. However, Dragon's beliefs were altered after witnessing the horrific massacre in Ohara. Moved by the senseless loss of innocent lives in the pursuit of knowledge, he was compelled to take up arms and change the world.

During his time in Ohara, Dragon met Vegapunk, who reminded him to stay true to his cause. With this newfound conviction, Dragon formed the Revolutionary Army, drawing in a vast number of skilled fighters to his cause. While the organization boasts an abundance of manpower, it is those at the top who possess the ability to make a significant impact in critical moments. Although Oda has introduced most of the top fighters, there are still some whose debut in the One Piece manga is yet to come.

The Commanders

Dragon holds the top position in the Revolutionary Army's chain of command, followed by Sabo who serves as the chief of staff. Due to Dragon's status as the world's most wanted man, he cannot personally carry out all missions, and thus requires dependable subordinates who will faithfully execute his orders without fail. Sabo and the other commanders have proven themselves to be exceptional in their roles, contributing significantly to the Revolutionary Army's ongoing success. Sabo, in particular, has successfully completed numerous crucial missions, including those in Dressrosa and Marijoa.

Although Sabo is undoubtedly formidable, the Revolutionary Army's commanders are all highly capable in their own right. Karasu, for instance, leads the North Army and accompanied Sabo on the mission to rescue Kuma at Marijoa. With the power of the Susu Susu no Mi, a Logia-type Devil Fruit, Karasu is able to create and manipulate soot. He has demonstrated remarkable control over his abilities, even creating objects such as crows with ease.

Lindbergh, the leader of the South Army, is a member of the Mink tribe and possesses exceptional scientific knowledge. He can develop advanced weaponry with ease, thanks to his expertise. Being a Mink, Lindbergh has access to the ability known as Electro. Additionally, he can unleash his Sulong form, which enhances his physical capabilities to a great extent.

The East Army is under the leadership of Belo Betty, who is a Devil Fruit user. She possesses the power of Kobu Kobu no Mi, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that can instill fighting spirit in others. Morley, on the other hand, is a giant and the commander of the West Army. She was once held captive in Impel Down but managed to escape with the help of her Devil Fruit ability, Oshi Oshi no Mi. This unique Paramecia-type Devil Fruit allows her to manipulate and reshape the ground as per her will, making her a formidable opponent in both open and enclosed environments.

Finally, there is Ivankov, a founding member of the Revolutionary Army and part of a special list of leaders. Ivankov leads the G-Army, which covers the entire Grand Line, and possesses the Horu Horu no Mi Devil Fruit, giving him control over hormones. This ability allows him to be a valuable asset to the army, as he can use it in various ways. Despite the already impressive roster of commanders, it was revealed in a recent manga chapter that each commander has a deputy who acts as a vice-captain.

The North Army is overseen by Jiron in the absence of Karasu. He is known for his gambling tendencies and fearlessness in the face of challenges. Jiron was introduced in Chapter 1082 alongside the other deputy commanders and was seen eating a metallic object, though it's unclear if it's related to his Devil Fruit powers. He made a bet with Gambo, Lindbergh's assistant, who has a Humpty Dumpty-like appearance with an egg-shaped body and a mustache. With a total of five deputy commanders, it's safe to assume that they are all skilled fighters.
