The Shocking Truth of Cobra's Meeting with World Government Leaders in One Piece

The focus of the One Piece manga has recently shifted from the pirates to the Revolutionaries. It has been disclosed that the Revolutionary Army had other goals besides rescuing Bartholomew Kuma. One of their objectives was to destroy the hoof, which has been a symbol of the Celestial Dragons for centuries. The residents of Marijoa use this symbol to brand all their slaves, and by destroying it, the Revolutionary Army declared war. This act did not sit well with the Celestial Dragons and many of them openly wanted the Revolutionaries to be prosecuted. The Marines could not stand by, and they sent their two best fighters, Fujitora and Ryokugyu, to defeat the Revolutionary Army. However, before the Admirals could reach their destination, the Revolutionary Army successfully destroyed the food supplies. This left only one objective - to rescue Kuma and the other slaves. Sabo went to find the key to Kuma's collar, while the Revolutionary Army commanders kept the Admirals busy. Meanwhile, a crucial meeting took place in Marijoa involving Nefertari Cobra and the Five Elders, while the Revolutionary Army was running rampant.

Why Did Cobra Meet Them?

The Five Elders were uncomfortable with Cobra's questions, but they couldn't express their frustration openly. When they saw Imu sitting on the Empty Throne, they were shocked and wondered why Imu made their presence known. Cobra was also taken aback when he saw Imu on the throne. Before sitting down, Imu uttered the name "Lily," strongly implying a connection to the secret of the world.

It's no surprise that Cobra was killed after seeing Imu. The Five Elders couldn't allow him to leave with knowledge of the World Government's biggest secret. If Cobra were to divulge this information, it would cause chaos worldwide. Before his murder, Cobra may have learned more about Imu and the history of the world. Sabo may also be nearby, having knowledge of Imu and the secret of the Empty Throne from his conversation with Dragon. Imu's destruction of the Lulusia Kingdom suggests that Sabo may have witnessed the events in the throne room as well. They wouldn't have taken such drastic measures unless there was a significant risk involved. They couldn't allow Sabo to reveal the truth to Dragon. They tried to erase the Lulusia Kingdom, but Sabo somehow survived.

The upcoming chapters will focus on Cobra, Sabo, and the other characters in the throne room. Oda won't reveal Imu's identity yet, but fans can expect to learn more about the D and why the World Government is so wary of it. There's also a chance that Oda might reveal what happened to Shirahoshi, Sai, and the other people involved in a struggle with a Celestial Dragon.
