When their 21-year-old daughter moved back in, Consuelos and Ripa had to set some boundaries.

Consuelos mentioned that his daughter is thrilled to be living with them again, as it is her final semester in college. Instead of going back to her apartment, she will be staying with them. An interesting behavior that she has developed is casually walking into their bedroom without knocking, saying "Hey girls". Therefore, Ripa and Consuelos had to have a conversation with their daughter, explicitly stating that they do not have an open door policy. Although they are incredibly happy to have her home and consider her the heart of the family due to her humor and fantastic personality, they kindly asked her to knock before entering.

According to Ripa, she decided to alter her Instagram posts after discovering that a famous singer was following her. During an interview on Danny Pellegrino’s “Everything Iconic” podcast in November 2022, Ripa shared that her trainer, Isaac Boots, informed her that Madonna had started following her. This revelation prompted Ripa to make a significant change in her content. She admitted, "I immediately shifted my focus and began sharing more provocative and shirtless photos of my husband. I figured Madonna wasn't interested in seeing pictures of my children; she wanted some eye candy."

She opened her eyes to find herself in the hospital, feeling a sense of annoyance towards Consuelos, who had dressed her in a manner that resembled a cheaply dressed prostitute in order to rush her to the emergency room.
