The release of Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.2 has brought along a fresh batch of bosses. These were recently unveiled in the game's Special Program stream called "Even Immortality Ends," giving players a glimpse of what to expect in the upcoming update.
Fans have eagerly awaited Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.2 for various reasons, including the introduction of new five-star banner characters, Kafka and Blade. Additionally, this update will continue the game's main storyline, potentially concluding the adventure at Xianzhou Luofu. It will also provide further insights into the backgrounds of certain characters, such as the connection between Dan Heng and Imbibitor Lunae.
In Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.2, players will face exciting new challenges in the form of four powerful bosses. Unveiled during the recent Special Program, these enemies include The Ascended, Abundance Sprite: Malefic Ape, Yanqing, and Phantylia the Undying. Phantylia is depicted as the ultimate boss in the Xianzhou storyline, wielding both the powers of Destruction and Abundance. She will have three phases, each with different lotus types that can debuff and damage units.
Malefic Ape and The Ascended are mini-bosses found in the Alchemy Commission and Scalegorge Waterscape, while Yanqing, a playable five-star character, may serve as a main boss. However, not much information has been revealed regarding the reasons behind the player's fight against Yanqing. Given that previous versions of Honkai: Star Rail featured Bronya and Kafka as boss enemies, it is not unexpected to see Yanqing in the Version 1.2 lineup.
Over 200,000 viewers watched the Honkai: Star Rail stream, filled with excitement for the missions, events, and collecting Stellar Jades for gacha pulls in Version 1.2. The livestream codes also provided free Stellar Jades until July 9. The anticipation grows as players eagerly await the opportunity to explore new locations, battle new bosses, and strategize with characters Kafka, Blade, and Luka. The "Even Immortality Ends" trailer hints at a potential captivating storyline that will further expand the game's universe. The godlike Aeons, such as Yaoshi the Abundance and Nanook the Destruction, seem poised to play a significant role in Version 1.2. Players will need to patiently await the update release on July 19.
Honkai: Star Rail is now available on Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation version is in development.
