Editors Note: Look of the Week is a recurring series that dissects the most buzzed-about outfit from the past week, showcasing both the positive and negative aspects.
Julia Fox has been actively promoting her revealing memoir "Down the Drain" this month, allowing the multi-talented actor, model, and now author to fully embrace her signature style.

Restraining ourselves from dedicating our Look of the Week title to Fox every week is a challenge. She constantly wows us with her fashion choices, such as her anxiety-inducing low slung pants, slicked-back gray hair, and bleached eyebrows. However, fashion extends beyond just Julia Fox (although maybe it shouldn't), which is why we occasionally skip her other noteworthy ensembles, like her shower-curtain dress, or her matching condom tube-top and boots combo, in order to be fair.
Yet, on Tuesday, Fox debuted a look in London that cannot be ignored. She wore a literal plastic dry-cleaning bag, held up by a loop around her neck, resembling a halter dress.
Introducing this week's featured look: Chris Pine embraces the arrival of sweater weather with a bold and energetic workout outfit.
The bag he carries showcases the name Figura Services, an avant-garde brand hailing from the United Kingdom. (The outfit itself is directly from their Autumn-Winter 2023 collection, unveiled at London Fashion Week earlier in the year.) Inside the bag, a pristine white button-down hangs neatly on a wire hanger. To complement the bag, Pine pairs it with what appears to be elastic-waist shorts, stunning stiletto knee-high boots, reminiscent of J.Lo's style, and a well-structured cream-colored handbag.
Fox has been experimenting with unconventional garment styles lately. In a similar fashion, she was spotted wearing a collared shirt and tie fastened to her chest on one occasion. On another outing, she paired high-cut frilly white underwear with low-cut white bloomers.

Fox's press tour has featured unconventional styles that appear to be a reflection of various aspects of the book itself. For instance, she wore a studded and leather BDSM-inspired dress, reminiscent of her time spent as a dominatrix. Additionally, she donned an oversized blazer, reminiscent of dust jacket portraits from the 1980s or 90s.
So, what might a dry-cleaning bag symbolize? Considering that these bags typically hold luxurious or delicate items that require special care, it could potentially represent a protective barrier or serve as a commentary on the display of wealth. After all, Fox reveals in "Down the Drain" that she had to portray an affluent appearance long before actually possessing wealth.

It can also be embraced as a symbolic cleanse, akin to the therapeutic effect of sharing a profoundly personal memoir. In "Down the Drain," Fox fearlessly reveals the challenging chapters of her life, including her struggle with heroin addiction and her stint at a psychiatric facility. She bares her soul, yet her story remains untainted.
Perhaps it's just Fox supporting a designer who creates unique and daring outfits that only she can confidently wear. Regardless of the reason behind Fox's latest attention-grabbing moment, it proves that a model can still appear stunning even in a simple brown paper bag. Designers have been known to experiment with transforming ordinary items, like when Balenciaga sent models down the runway in garbage bags or when Moschino created a campy collection inspired by cleaning products. However, Fox's captivating and playful fashion choices truly showcase her prowess and elevate her to the top of her game. Who else can flawlessly pair a condom-shaped purse with thigh-high boots without a trace of irony? May her reign continue for a long time.
