Julia Fox's Explosive Memoir: What Kanye West's Ex has Unveiled

Julia Fox didn't hold back in her new memoir, Down the Drain. However, she revealed on the October 15 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that ex Kanye West had not contacted her or his team about the shocking revelations in her book.

In her recently published book, Fox consistently refers to West as "the artist." She recounts their initial encounter at a New Year's party in Miami, sharing that she woke up to numerous missed calls from West the following day.

Fox reveals that in early 2022, after exploring an unreleased Diesel collection together in a hotel room in New York City, West offered to fund a breast augmentation surgery for her. However, Fox politely declined the proposition.

“But his words stick to me like a piece of lint on my clothes, and I can’t shake off the uncomfortable feeling,” she wrote.

During their passionate relationship, Kanye West purportedly enlisted Julia Fox's acquaintances to assist in her styling. Fox expressed a sense of powerlessness as she observed two of her friends packing away her previous wardrobe in her apartment. According to her, they sought West's opinions while disregarding hers. However, Fox managed to intervene discreetly by retrieving and concealing certain belongings under her bed for safekeeping.

As their relationship evolved, Fox and West engaged in heated debates regarding their individual social circles. Allegedly, West advised Fox to establish "boundaries" with her friends. In a written expression, she conveyed her strong dislike for certain members of West's entourage whom she believed to be opportunistic and deceitful, even though she had only known them for a short period.

Fox also asserted that a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) was distributed among some of her friends, but she staunchly refused to sign it. She made it clear that while West may exert control over her life, he would not suppress her voice.

Fox's representative confirmed their breakup in February 2022, stating that Julia and Kanye are no longer together but remain good friends and collaborators. During her memoir promotion, Fox further discussed her relationship with West, who had previously divorced Kim Kardashian in February 2021. She revealed to the Los Angeles Times that she initially believed there was a genuine connection between her and West, and she hoped to be a positive influence in his ongoing journey with Kardashian.

“I had a deep understanding of him at a visceral level,” Fox expressed. “Initially, I believed I would be assisting in a delicate situation, but I soon realized that I was being manipulated. I simply felt like a puppet under his control."

In a September edition of The New York Times profile, Fox openly admitted that there was a lack of sexual intimacy during her time with West. “It wasn't a significant factor,” she explained.

Fox was determined to be candid in her book concerning her sexual history, including her past as a dominatrix. She confessed, "I tend to be somewhat brief when it comes to my personal writing, only mentioning that something outrageous occurred and swiftly moving forward." Expressing her intentions, she added, "However, this time I made a deliberate effort to immerse the reader in the situation. I didn't want to skip any details, even if some of them might be considered excessive."
