Julia Fox Turns Heads with a Stunning Fashion Statement: The Dry Cleaning Bag Dress

Julia Fox, 33, displayed her signature quirky style with her latest outfit choice in London on October 17. She confidently rocked a dry cleaning bag, cleverly fashioned either as a dress or as a necklace.

Drapped from a strap around the neck of the star of Uncut Gems, the dry cleaning bag contained an oversized white button-down shirt, displaying the words "Figura Services Limited" on the front. To complete the ensemble, Fox paired it with white shorts and slouchy heeled knee-high boots in white.

With her brown hair flowing in loose waves and adorned with pink highlights, she parted it in the middle. For a glamorous touch, Fox embraced a '90s aesthetic, featuring thin arched eyebrows, a matte foundation, and a dark brown lipstick.

Figura Services, a London-based fashion brand, should not be confused with a dry cleaning company. A highlight from their Autumn/Winter 2023 collection, titled "The Damage Done," was the remarkable outfit worn by Fox during London Fashion Week in February. This bold appearance came only a week after the release of her captivating memoir, "Down the Drain," on October 10.

The author's book encompasses a diverse range of narratives, including accounts of past abusive relationships, miscarriages, arrests, and friendships. Within its pages, she opens up about her personal experience of being in a relationship with Kanye West. She alleges that during their time together, West exerted control over her style, leaked images of them to the media, and made her feel like a mere spectacle and subordinate.

Within the book, Fox discloses that West, aged 46, displayed controlling behavior towards her wardrobe right from the start. Following their initial date, the rapper supposedly had a series of tightly fitted black jumpsuits delivered to her hotel room. By their third date, a stylist was compelled to suggest alternative clothing options within the confines of a restaurant bathroom.

"His words cling to me, resembling a stubborn piece of lint on my clothing. The uncomfortable sensation lingers, refusing to be shaken off," expressed Fox.

During her appearance on Live with Andy Cohen on Monday, October 16, Fox disclosed that despite West's request for her to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) at the commencement of their relationship, she declined. Furthermore, she asserted that neither West nor any member of his team contacted her prior to the publication of her memoir.

After ending her whirlwind romance with West, which lasted just two months starting in January 2022, Fox is now enjoying the freedom to explore her personal style, including experimenting with different clothing choices and even utilizing laundry bags.
