The royal family boasts an impressive range of talents, with Prince William, Princess Kate, and others possessing unique skills. One of the most notable is Princess Kate's proficiency in playing the piano, which she learned during her youth and continues to showcase beautifully.
According to her former instructor, Daniel Nicholl, Kate started taking piano lessons when she was around 10 or 11 years old and continued until she was 13, between the years of 1993 and 1995. Nicholl described Kate as a delightful person to teach and noted that she, along with her siblings James and Pippa Middleton, were just normal piano pupils. While Nicholl doesn't believe Kate was destined to be a concert pianist, he did acknowledge that she was good at playing and always followed his instructions.
The Duchess of Cambridge showcased her musical prowess in December 2021 at the Royal Carols: Together at Christmas concert, where she collaborated with Tom Walker to perform his song "For Those Who Can't Be Here" for the BBC broadcast. Later on, she returned to the stage to perform with Eurovision 2022 winner Kalush, delivering a new version of their victorious track "Stefania." Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, is also known for his talents; during a public event in Galway, Ireland, he impressed his wife by showcasing his juggling skills and expertly balancing three balls.
During their visit, the Irish Foreign Ministry tweeted that Prince William could be a great representative for Galway 2020 Capital of Culture, the event that the couple was exploring. Even the three children of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall have their own unique talents. According to an insider in April 2022, Princess Charlotte adores acrobatics and acting and loves to put on performances whenever she has the chance.
About a year ago, William shared the music preferences of his children, which they enjoy listening and dancing to at home. During the conclusion of the Apple Fitness+ series "Time to Walk," the University of St Andrews alumnus mentioned that there is usually a dispute between Charlotte and George every morning over which song to play. William now has to alternate between letting one child choose the music one day and the other child the next day due to the high demand for particular songs.
Charlotte is a huge fan of Shakira’s hit song “Waka Waka” and loves moving to its rhythmic beat. William shared during a December 2021 episode that Charlotte can often be found twirling around the kitchen in her dresses and ballet attire, completely caught up in the music. Louis is not far behind, trying to mimic his sister's every move. These moments are filled with pure joy as the children dance, sing, and play around.
