The Royal Family, including King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Princess Kate, and Prince William, are seen attending the coronation of King Charles III in Scotland, following his recent crowning as the new monarch of England at Westminster Abbey

The British royal family attended the official Scotland coronation ceremony of King Charles III in a stylish manner.

Queen Camilla, along with Prince William and Princess Kate, were among the senior royals present at the coronation service held at St. Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh on Wednesday, July 5. This event took place two months after Charles, 74, and Camilla, 75, were officially crowned as the new sovereigns of the United Kingdom on May 6 at Westminster Abbey in London.

Charles, Camilla, and William, all aged 41, wore robes for the Scottish ceremony that differed from those worn during the monarch's coronation in May. Instead of the red, white, and blue of the English flag, the royal trio wore green velvet robes adorned with a royal blue sash.

In contrast, Kate, aged 41, chose to add a vibrant touch of color. Previously, she had matched her eight-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte in white Alexander McQueen gowns at the May coronation. On this occasion, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a bright blue coat dress by Catherine Walker & Co., which she had previously worn for the royal family's Easter Mass in April 9 and for Commonwealth Day in March 2022. To complete the monochromatic ensemble, she accessorized with a coordinating hat, purse, and heels.

Royal Family Attends King Charles III's Scotland Coronation: See Their Looks

The official Scotland coronation ceremony of King Charles III saw the British royal family making a grand entrance.

In attendance at the coronation service held at St. Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh were senior royals Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Princess Kate. This event took place on Wednesday, July 5, just two months after Charles, aged 74, was officially crowned as the United Kingdom's new sovereign, alongside Camilla, aged 75, as Queen, at Westminster Abbey in London on May 6.

Charles, Camilla, and William, aged 41, were all dressed in royal robes for the Scottish ceremony, but these robes were different from the ones they wore during the monarch's May coronation. Instead of the red, white, and blue of the English flag, each member of the royal trio wore green velvet robes with a royal blue sash.

Kate, aged 41, chose to add a pop of color to her outfit, following the white Alexander McQueen gowns worn by her and William's daughter, Princess Charlotte, aged 8, during the May coronation. The Duchess of Cambridge wore a vibrant blue coat dress by Catherine Walker & Co., which she had previously worn for the royal family's Easter Mass on April 9 and for Commonwealth Day in March 2022. She completed her monochromatic look with a matching hat, purse, and heels.

King Charles III

Charles' Scotland coronation robes, known as the Order of the Thistle robes, were previously owned by his mother, Queen Elizabeth II. The Order of the Thistle is the most esteemed order of chivalry in Scotland, acknowledging sixteen Knights with the highest honor in the country. It recognizes Scottish individuals who have served in public office or have made significant contributions to national life.

Queen Camilla

Camilla showcased her affiliation to the distinguished Order of the Thistle by adorning her majestic robes, an attire shared by Charles and William, fellow members of this esteemed historical society. Diverging from her spouse and stepson, she elegantly complemented her coronation ensemble with an opulent velvet hat embellished with a graceful white feather. The resplendent white gown hidden beneath her robes was masterfully crafted by Bruce Oldfield, the brilliant designer who also created her regal white and gold embroidered attire for Charles' coronation in May.

Princess Kate

Though Kate — who also shares sons Prince George, 9, and Prince Louis, 5, with William — previously donned her coronation coat dress in March 2022, she refreshed the ensemble by complementing it with a vibrant blue hat, purse, and matching heels. Additionally, she adorned herself with some of Queen Elizabeth’s precious jewelry, including her Four Row Japanese Pearl Choker and delicate pearl earrings.

Prince William

William's coronation attire closely resembled his father's, with the inclusion of the emerald velvet robes of the Order of the Thistle. Concealed beneath the regal attire, the Duke of Cambridge seemed to be adorned in one of his Royal Air Force uniforms.
