Tristan Thompson's Long-Awaited Apology to Kylie Jenner: 4 years After His Affair with Jordyn Woods

Tristan Thompson found himself at the receiving end of the Kardashian family's anger during his recent apology tour.
In a trailer that aired after the latest episode of The Kardashians on November 9th, Khloé Kardashian disclosed that many members of her family still hold a grudge against Tristan for his previous acts of infidelity.
"In this family, any action towards one of us has a ripple effect on everyone," Khloé, aged 39, expressed to Tristan, aged 32, before he embarked on individual visits to see Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian.
In a separate video, the athlete pondered over his past errors and acknowledged, "I have reached a point where I can take responsibility for the mistakes I have made."
Before meeting with Tristan, Kylie, a 26-year-old woman, expressed her nervousness to the cameras. Tristan seemed regretful for dragging Kylie into his complicated personal issues.
"It seems that everyone was affected in their own way. However, I believe you were impacted the most," he acknowledged.
The NBA player began dating Khloé in 2016, and they announced the following year that they were expecting a child together. Shortly before their daughter True's birth in 2018, Tristan was unfaithful to his pregnant girlfriend and engaged in relationships with multiple women. Initially, Khloé and Tristan decided to stay together, but they ultimately ended their relationship in February 2019 when he kissed Jordyn Woods, who was Kylie's former best friend.
In August 2020, we confirmed that the couple had decided to give their romance another chance. However, less than a year later, they once again broke up. Khloé and Tristan briefly reconciled in late 2021 before ultimately ending their relationship for good.
In December 2021, reports emerged that the athlete was facing a lawsuit from Maralee Nichols regarding child support. Just a month later, Tristan admitted to being the father of fitness model Maralee's son, Theo, after undergoing genetic testing. It was subsequently revealed that Khloé and Tristan had a surrogate who was also pregnant during the same time, and they welcomed their son, Tatum, in the summer of 2022.
Following Tristan's involvement with Jordyn, who is 26 years old, Kylie decided to sever ties with her friend. Jordyn later reflected on how the resulting drama had impacted her friendship with Kylie.
During a September 2020 interview on the Now With Natalie YouTube series, she emphasized the importance of not dwelling on what could have been and instead accepting what actually happened. Kylie, on the other hand, talked about her choice to forgive all those involved in the situation.
During the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion in June 2021, she expressed her belief that despite not personally speaking to her, the person in question is thriving in her personal life. She emphasized that it is a misconception to assume that she has only forgiven Tristan and not Jordyn. Some narratives may not be as entertaining to circulate and rapidly spread. She clarified that she has tweeted and shared Insta Stories to show that she holds no grudges against Jordyn. She recognizes that people make mistakes, grow, and learn, and she forgives both parties. It would be illogical, in her opinion, to forgive Tristan and not Jordyn.
Earlier this year, the former friends reconciled when they were seen dining together in Los Angeles. In July, a source revealed exclusively to Us that it was Kylie who reached out to Jordyn. Kylie had missed her and felt that enough time had passed, leading them to arrange a meet-up.
A second source revealed that Kylie and Jordyn are currently making efforts to repair their previous relationship, describing it as a gradual process.
Moreover, Kylie obtained Khloé's approval to meet with Jordyn, despite their previous conflict. The source concluded by stating that Khloé supports Kylie's decision and is focused on forgiveness and moving forward.
Tristan not only tried to reconcile with Kylie, but he also paid a visit to Kourtney, who is 44 years old, as shown in Thursday's teaser.
"How scared are you, on a scale of one to ten?" Kourtney asked, sitting down with a notebook filled with questions. In a confessional, Kourtney shared her past experiences with Tristan and admitted, "Tristan and I have never really connected, and I can't pretend otherwise."
