Travis Kelce was unable to attend the opening night of Taylor Swift's South American tour due to a charitable commitment. While Swift started the second leg of her Eras Tour in Argentina, the 34-year-old Kelce chose to stay in Kansas City. Rather than being seen in Swift's VIP tent, Kelce prioritized supporting his teammate Patrick Mahomes at the third annual 15 and the Mahomies Foundation Gala.

"@killatrav is in the building!" stated an Instagram Story posted by the charity's official account on Thursday. Accompanying the post was a video of Kelce at the event. The charity expressed their immense gratitude for all the support.

Mahomes, aged 28, established his organization in 2019 with the aim of enhancing the lives of children. The foundation's website states that their initiatives focus on health, wellness, communities in need of resources, and other philanthropic causes. By the conclusion of the gala on Thursday, grants totaling more than $600,000 were awarded to the charity's partners.

“Thank you all for your presence,” expressed Mahomes as he stood on stage with his wife, Brittany Mahomes. “Let's maintain this momentum, strive for growth, and discover the boundless possibilities ahead.”

Travis Kelce, courtesy of 15andmahomies/Instagram, made an appearance shortly after teasing the idea of traveling to a sunny destination nearer the equator during the Kansas City Chiefs' bye week. On the November 8th episode of their podcast "New Heights," Kelce mentioned that he might just decide to go somewhere nice without any hesitation.

Swift kicked off her Eras Tour once again on Thursday, following the conclusion of her U.S. shows in August. The Buenos Aires crowd witnessed an unforgettable performance as Swift took the stage in a brand-new pink bodysuit for the Lover section of her three-hour set. Among the highlights were the live debuts of previously unreleased songs, "The Very First Night (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault)" and "Labyrinth," which were showcased during the acoustic segment of the concert.

Although Travis was unable to attend Thursday's event, he had previously experienced The Eras Tour in Kansas City back in July. He later shared on "New Heights" that he had attempted to meet Swift backstage and gift her a friendship bracelet containing his phone number. Unfortunately, the two did not cross paths that particular evening.

Two months later, Swift agreed to join Travis and watch him play in a Chiefs game. She was initially seen in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium on September 24 and has since been present at four additional NFL games as her relationship with Travis intensifies.

Despite their hectic schedules, an insider revealed exclusively to We this month that Swift and Travis have formed a genuine connection and have devised detailed strategies to manage the distance while Swift is on tour.

According to another source, it was revealed last month that he has already made plans to visit her on tour, and they will see each other when she has a break. Taylor is said to be extremely happy and excited about Travis.

After completing two more shows in Buenos Aires this weekend, Swift will be heading to Brazil for performances in Rio de Janeiro and São Paolo. As for Travis, his next NFL game is scheduled for November 20 against Jason and the Philadelphia Eagles.
