Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes (formerly Matthews), expressed their joy of spending the off-season with their children while attending the 2023 ESPYs red carpet. Away from leading the Kansas City Chiefs on the field, Patrick, 27, revealed, "We cherish our family time," and Brittany, also 27, added, "For me, this is the true season, having two kids at home." Patrick jokingly referred to their family time as his "real season."

The couple, who have a two-year-old daughter named Sterling and a seven-month-old son named Bronze, spoke about how they were adjusting to having two young children at home. Patrick, dressed in a stylish white Hugo Boss suit, complete with sporty shades and a gold chain, expressed his openness to learning. He mentioned that Coach Reed guides him at the facility, while Brittany serves as his coach at home.

Brittany, on the other hand, expressed her joy in having her husband at home during the off season to assist with household chores. The soccer star adorned herself in a black Versace gown featuring cutouts and golden embellishments. Completing her look, she complemented the dress with a delicate gold chain necklace.

"It's incredible to have his support in managing tasks around the house," she enthused. "He excels as both a coach and a father."

The Kansas City Chiefs' quarterback, Patrick, has been nominated for two prestigious individual awards: Best Athlete - Men's Sports and Best NFL Player. In 2019, Patrick already emerged victorious as the recipient of the Best NFL Player award. Furthermore, the Chiefs have also received a nomination for the esteemed title of Best Team.

These nominations for Patrick stem from the Chiefs' remarkable triumph in Super Bowl LVII against the Philadelphia Eagles in February. Despite suffering from an injury, Patrick showcased his indomitable spirit, persevering through the pain to secure the victory.
