A player of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom recently shared their cautionary experience on social media, where they learned the hard way that overthinking a Lynel fight can result in disastrous consequences. Following this, a video surfaced online that highlighted the importance of fire safety in the game. Ultrahand, a new feature in the latest Zelda game that allows players to create customized structures and vehicles, has become a favorite among players. Since the game's release on May 12, numerous players have been sharing their impressive creations, including Tears of the Kingdom Batmobiles and attack drones.
One Reddit user, Vpeyjilji57, went to great lengths to construct an elaborate laser tank with Zonai Beam Emitters and an auto-targeting system to defeat a Lynel in Breath of the Wild. While some fans mocked the convoluted strategy, others praised Vpeyjilji57's engineering skills and believed that the outcome was simply a result of bad luck. They argued that attempting the approach in better weather conditions would have likely led to a triumphant victory and saved weapon durability in the process.
Building Vpeyjilji57's contraption in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom shouldn't prove too difficult for players wanting to test out this theory. The only potentially confusing aspect is the targeting mechanism, which may not be immediately clear in the game. However, using activated Zonai Construct Heads will cause them to always face enemies, allowing for ranged weapons to be attached and creating automatic cannons that lock onto hostile mobs. Additionally, Construct Heads attached to the wheels can aid in maneuvering around enemies, such as the Lynel. While the initial attempt at using this contraption to defeat a Lynel failed due to a lack of knowledge about avoiding electrocution during thunderstorms, this should not deter players from experimenting with Vpeyjilji57's invention.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now on Nintendo Switch.
