Peta Murgatroyd recently shared her experience of taking some time to recover and feel like herself again after giving birth to her baby.
"I'm honestly feeling quite good at the moment. I believe this 4-month milestone is when I finally feel like I'm back," the 37-year-old professional dancer on Dancing With the Stars, expressed to her fans on Instagram Story on Friday, October 20.
The dancer expressed that she refers to various aspects such as physical, mental, and hormonal levels when she says "stuff like that."
She further stated, "I feel great and my dancing ability is back to normal. It's like my body has completely lost the weight gained during pregnancy, and I feel like myself again. So, I believe it's been four months since I reached this point. Yes, I feel good, active, and physically strong. It took me four months, just like it did with Shai."
Murgatroyd and her husband, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, have two children together - son Shai, aged 6, and son Rio, aged 4 months. They got married in 2017. In January, they announced their pregnancy and expressed their struggle with miscarriages and unsuccessful IVF attempts in the past.

Instead, she recalls feeling a mixture of fear and uncertainty. Opening up about the emotionally overwhelming moment, she admitted her desire to protect herself by keeping her emotions in check until the pregnancy became a tangible reality.
Rio arrived in June, and the parents have been open about the challenges of adjusting to their new life with two children. Murgatroyd expressed her thoughts on Instagram in August, mentioning the joys and difficulties they have experienced with their baby boy. Despite the sleepless nights, she describes the past month as pure happiness.
In addition to being a mother, Murgatroyd is currently participating in DWTS season 32 alongside Barry Williams from the Brady Bunch. On Tuesday, October 17, they faced a tense moment when they realized they had one of the lowest scores, along with Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber. Fortunately, Adrian Peterson and Britt Stewart were the ones eliminated after the audience voted. They will continue competing on Tuesday, October 24.
