Best Light Cone | |||
The mechanics of Light Cone in Honkai: Star Rail differ from the weapon usage in Genshin Impact. Unlike Genshin, where characters can only wield weapons of their own type, Honkai: Star Rail allows characters to utilize Light Cones from different Paths. However, in doing so, the weapon's passive ability will not be activated.
7 Loop
, Nihility weapons in Honkai: Star Rail serve different purposes. They can either increase damage from damage over time (DoT) effects or provide utility through the Effect Hit Rate stat. While a DPS build can allow Silver Wolf to deal decent damage, neglecting her debuffing abilities can have a negative impact on the team's overall DPS. Therefore, the optimal Silver Wolf Light Cone in Honkai: Star Rail usually provides either more debuffing or an increased Effect Hit Rate.
HP | ATK | DEF |
---|---|---|
846 | 317 | 264 |
S5 Passive | ||
Increases DMG dealt from its wearer to Slowed enemies by 48%. |
Loop is a viable option for beginners who prioritize damage dealing, especially against Slowed enemies. While it may not be necessary to fully maximize Silver Wolf's potential in early content, players should keep in mind that Loop's boost only applies to Slowed enemies. This can be achieved through Silver Wolf's Talent or by utilizing other characters like Dan Heng or Welt.
6 Void
HP | ATK | DEF |
---|---|---|
846 | 317 | 264 |
S5 Passive | ||
At the start of the battle, the wearer's Effect Hit Rate increases by 40% for 3 turn(s). |
Opting for Void can be a viable option for novice Trailblazers as it enhances Effect Hit Rate for the initial three turns. However, it's advisable to collect other powerful Light Cones for the Silver Wolf as Void has certain limitations and may not be the best choice in the long run.
5 Good Night and Sleep Well
HP | ATK | DEF |
---|---|---|
952 | 476 | 330 |
Passive | ||
For every debuff the target enemy has, the DMG dealt by the wearer increases by 12%, stacking up to 3 time(s). This effect also applies to DoT. |
While Good Night and Sleep Well may not offer any utility, it serves as a powerful weapon for Silver Wolf damage. At S5, it can even surpass an S1 In the Name of the World, highlighting its strength. This Light Cone is designed for DoT DPS characters such as Sampo and Kafka, but players need not worry about the three-debuffs requirement as Silver Wolf is capable of applying six different debuffs on her own.
4 In the Name of the World
HP | ATK | DEF |
---|---|---|
1058 | 582 | 463 |
Passive | ||
Increases the wearer's DMG to debuffed enemies by 24%. When the wearer uses their Skill, the Effect Hit Rate for this attack increases by 18%, and ATK increases by 24%. |
Welt’s signature Light Cone, known as In the Name of the World, is a top choice for players who prioritize Silver Wolf's damage. Although the Effect Hit Rate only affects her Skill, the damage increase it offers can greatly benefit the Stellaron Hunter.
Just keep in mind that players will be losing the utilities she can provide from other Light Cones, so focusing on her personal DPS may not be the best idea.
3 Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat
HP | ATK | DEF |
---|---|---|
952 | 476 | 330 |
Passive | ||
When the wearer hits an enemy and if the hit enemy is not already Ensnared, then there is a 60% base chance to Ensnare the hit enemy. Ensnared enemies' DEF decreases by 12% for 1 turn(s). |
Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat becomes a valuable weapon for Silver Wolf players who possess sufficient Effect Hit Rate, as it aids in dealing larger DPS by lowering the enemy's DEF and benefiting the entire team. However, due to its low Base Chance, which is only 60%, this weapon is not an ideal choice at lower Superimposition. But, at S5, it is undoubtedly one of the best options available not just for Silver Wolf, but for Nihility debuffers as well.
2 Before the Tutorial Mission Starts
HP | ATK | DEF |
---|---|---|
952 | 476 | 330 |
Passive | ||
Increases the wearer's Effect Hit Rate by 40%. When the wearer attacks DEF-reduced enemies, regenerates 8 Energy. |
The free Light Cone available before the Tutorial Mission in Honkai: Star Rail 1.1 may not pack the strongest punch for Silver Wolf's damage, but it proves to be an invaluable utility option for F2P players. Boasting a high Effect Hit Rate and Energy restoration capabilities, it enables players to cast Silver Wolf's Ultimate ability more frequently and decrease the opponent's DEF.
1 Incessant Rain
HP | ATK | DEF |
---|---|---|
1058 | 582 | 463 |
Passive | ||
Increases the wearer's Effect Hit Rate by 24%%. When the wearer deals DMG to an enemy that currently has 3 or more debuffs, increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 12%. After the wearer uses their Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate, there is a 100% chance to implant Aether Code on a random target that does not yet have it and was hit by the ability. Targets with Aether Code receive 12% increased DMG for 1 turn. |
While In The Name of The World may outshine Incessant Rain in terms of personal damage for Silver Wolf, the latter is still a great option for boosting the entire team’s DPS. The Light Cone skill not only increases Effect Hit Rate, but also applies a debuff that can significantly improve the team’s damage output. Additionally, the added Crit Rate can result in even bigger numbers from Silver Wolf herself. Overall, Incessant Rain may not be the best for individual damage, but it can provide valuable support for the team.
Honkai: Star Rail is now available on Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation version is in development.
