The yellow gold Rolex GMT-Master II was no ordinary accessory, especially since it was a special team commission following the Eagles’ Super Bowl win in 2018. The watch was designed with a green dial and a black ceramic bezel, paying homage to the Eagles’ team colors. And with a hefty price tag of $50,000, it truly stands out.

During an appearance on the “Green Light With Chris Long” podcast last month, Kelce shared the significance of the watch. He mentioned that Super Bowl rings aren’t enjoyable to wear, feeling a bit awkward and flashy. Kelce expressed that the rings are large and cumbersome, making it uncomfortable to wear them proudly.

He added, “They’re not comfortable. So we all decided — along with a couple other guys on the team — let’s just have Rolexes made commemorating the Super Bowl.”

Kelce shared in December 2023 that Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts gave him and his teammates watches as Christmas gifts. This wasn't the first time Hurts had gifted the team - previously, he had given them Louis Vuitton duffel bags. Kelce was often seen carrying his Louis Vuitton duffel bag during the past NFL season, especially when he was traveling. He liked to pair his duffel bag with his favorite flip-flops.

“So, this all brings us here to today,” he concluded. “Where I announce that I am retiring from the NFL after 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.”
