Jason Kelce Channels the Mystique of the Ocean with King Triton Costume for Halloween

Jason Kelce went all out for Halloween. His younger brother, Travis Kelce, started the November 1 episode of their "New Heights" podcast by asking, "Are those scales? What the f—k are you?"

Jason, aged 35, proudly revealed that he was dressed as "King Triton" from The Little Mermaid. To portray the underwater king and father of Princess Ariel, the Philadelphia Eagles center confidently donned a sparkling gold top and a self-made crown. Eager to showcase his ensemble to Travis, aged 34, Jason stood up, unveiling the lower half of his outfit. The merman aesthetic was achieved with a complementing pair of blue leggings adorned with a scale pattern and accessorized with golden cuff bracelets. With great enthusiasm, Jason exclaimed, "These are my scales! Look, I even have flippers on my ankles!"

Travis mentioned that the most impressive costumes are the ones that are not a perfect fit. Upon Jason's inquiry about the suitability of his apparel, Travis provided a straightforward explanation. "It's because your belly button is visible," he observed. "I can't recall King Triton's belly button being on display!"

In the 1989 animated film "Little Mermaid," Ariel's father was famously depicted without a shirt. However, in the upcoming 2023 live-action remake, Triton, played by Javier Bardem, donned a blue chest plate along with his green tail. As Jason scoffed at Travis, he remarked, "Well, obviously you don't remember the movie."

Travis, in contrast, opted not to dress up for the Halloween-themed episode. Jason playfully teased on Wednesday that his brother had missed the message in their "New Heights" group chat.

Travis decided to don a simple sweater and a chain-link choker for the podcast episode, while it was previously revealed that he intended to spend Halloween with his new romantic partner, Taylor Swift.

According to a source, Swift, 33, flew to Travis' residence in Kansas City with the purpose of celebrating the spooky holiday together. Another insider disclosed that Swift and Travis, who have been romantically linked since September, had contemplated dressing up as the renowned sports couple, David and Victoria Beckham. As of now, Swift and Travis have not disclosed their costumes for October 31st.

Jason spent the holiday with his wife Kylie Kelce and their three daughters: Wyatt, who is 4 years old; Elliotte, who is 2 years old; and Bennett, who is 8 months old. Unfortunately, they don't have any sidewalks in their neighborhood, so they don't get any trick-or-treaters. However, Jason jokingly mentioned during last week's podcast episode that they might take the girls to his father-in-law's neighborhood to go trick-or-treating. He also mentioned that in the past, Kylie has taken the girls to her parents' house to walk around the streets and collect candy.

Jason, Kylie and their daughters are also known to rock matching outfits on the holiday. During Halloween 2022, they all dressed up as Winnie the Pooh characters.
