Unveiling the Intriguing Bachelor in Paradise Season 9 Star: Will Urena's Enigmatic Journey!

Thanks to the scorching heat, Will Urena won't have to worry about having his jacket tossed into the ocean on Bachelor in Paradise, but he is definitely going to leave a lasting impression during season 9.

At the age of 31, Will first appeared on The Bachelorette during Michelle Young's season which was aired in 2021. Although he didn't manage to capture the heart of the leading lady, Will quickly found himself caught up in some drama during a group date themed around Top Gun: Maverick. On this particular date, the contestants were asked to spell the word "narcissist," and interestingly enough, Will ended up writing down the name of his fellow competitor, Peter Izzo.

Will emerged as the victor of the Top Gun: Maverick challenge, securing for himself a coveted Bachelorette bomber jacket reminiscent of those sported by the Naval aviators in the film. However, Peter, in a heated exchange at the Bachelor Mansion, callously tossed Will's prized jacket into the pool.

Despite his departure from The Bachelorette during the fourth week, the significance of the jacket incident remains indelible. The fate of this treasured garment following Michelle's season was unveiled by Will himself, who disclosed that he generously bestowed it upon his fellow Bachelor Nation counterpart, Brandon Jones.

"I'll forever be by your side as your wingman!" Brandon announced on Instagram in January 2022, indicating that their friendship has remained robust since their time on The Bachelorette. "Signing off."

After Will gifted Brandon his jacket, Michelle presented him with another one.

“Back in the day, my roommate Brandon took some time to talk to Michelle about some issues that were bothering me. One of those issues was the jacket situation. Luckily, before I left, Michelle gave me a gift," Will shared on Instagram in November 2021. "It was another jacket, so it felt right to give my old one to my lifelong brother, @bmacjones. I want to thank my fam for having my back throughout the process. The Jacket finally got the justice it deserved."

4. He Loves to Work Out

Will's Instagram profile is brimming with workout videos, showcasing his commitment to fitness. Additionally, he disclosed that "hitting the gym" was one of the methods he employed to ready himself for BiP.

In his Bachelor Nation interview, Will expounded on his preparations, stating that self-reflection, maintaining a nutritious diet, and embracing the possibility of love were his other tactics.

This is no surprise since Will played Rugby when attending Davenport University from 2011 to 2015.
