One Piece 1096's spoilers reveal how a young Bartholomew Kuma obtained the Paw-Paw Fruit

Lately, the primary emphasis concerning Bartholomew Kuma has revolved around his backstory and its connection to the ongoing Egghead Arc. Nevertheless, throughout the narrative of One Piece, Kuma has garnered significant attention for his combat prowess.
Known as one of the most formidable pirates within the Seven Warlords of the Sea, Kuma also held a prominent position within the Revolutionary Army. His remarkable abilities in combat can largely be attributed to his mastery of the Paw-Paw Fruit.
This particular Paramecia-type Devil Fruit bestows upon Kuma an unmatched level of adaptability, enabling him to effortlessly repel anything he comes into contact with using his paw pads, whether for defensive or offensive maneuvers. Since his paw pads are permanently a part of his hands, Kuma wears gloves as a precautionary measure to prevent accidentally activating his formidable Devil Fruit powers.
In this image captured from Toei Animation's "One Piece", we witness Kuma utilizing his formidable Devil Fruit abilities during a heated confrontation with Zoro. The enigmatic powers bestowed upon him by the Paw-Paw Fruit grant him the extraordinary capability to repel various objects such as weaponry, incoming assaults, individuals, and even the very air encompassing him. It is noteworthy that Kuma's miraculous feats solely rely on the direct contact between his paw pads and the target at hand.
However, it is important to note that Haki has been shown to possess a greater level of power compared to Devil Fruits. Therefore, individuals with exceptional and well-honed Haki may have the capability to overcome the abilities of the Paw-Paw Fruit.
Kuma has the ability to generate destructive shockwaves akin to cannon blasts by repelling air at the speed of light. To further enhance its potency, he can execute this technique, known as Tsuppari Pad Cannon, in rapid succession. A prime example of Kuma utilizing this move was seen during the Thriller Bark Arc, where he employed it against Roronoa Zoro.
Luckily for him, the second-in-command of the Straw Hat Pirates managed to evade the onslaught of assaults. Had he not done so, he would have endured severe injuries since each of Kuma's shockwaves possessed enough force to penetrate solid rock.

The most powerful technique using the Paw-Paw Fruit appears to be the Ursus Shock. To execute this move, Kuma unleashes a massive amount of compressed air in the form of a paw-shaped projectile. The air rapidly decompresses, resulting in a colossal explosion.
During the events at Thriller Bark, Kuma utilized this attack to effectively defeat the Straw Hat Pirates. He also employed it during the Marineford battle, specifically targeting Little Oars Jr., who suffered severe injuries from the devastating impact.
Using his Devil Fruit abilities, Kuma possesses the power to swiftly propel himself, individuals, or objects in a manner that closely resembles teleportation. This results in the target appearing to vanish to an outside observer, when in reality they have been propelled at an exceptionally rapid pace.
Utilizing this technique, both Kuma and his intended target can traverse vast distances within a brief period. In one instance, he employed this ability on Perona upon his initial introduction. Later on, he utilized it to disperse all members of the Straw Hat Pirates throughout various locations across the world, effectively erasing their presence from Sabaody Archipelago.

In the period just before the Paramount War, Kuma permitted Dr Vegapunk to transform his body into that of an apparently mindless cyborg to serve the World Government. Once again, he became a servant to Mary Geoise's Celestial Dragons, but his former comrades in the Revolutionary Army eventually rescued him.
Upon using the Paw-Paw Fruit, he unexpectedly transported himself back to Mary Geoise. However, upon his arrival, he found himself under attack and swiftly overpowered by Fleet Admiral Sakazuki "Akainu". In order to escape, Kuma utilized his Devil Fruit powers to quickly propel himself away. As for his subsequent destination, it remains a mystery.
What makes the Paw-Paw Fruit truly remarkable is its ability to repel not only physical objects but also intangible elements like memories and the physical suffering and exhaustion of others. Kuma can manifest these repelled elements into a colossal bubble in the shape of a paw, showcasing the astonishing power of his Devil Fruit abilities.

During the events in Thriller Bark, Bartholomew Kuma used his powers to remove all the pain from Luffy's body, and later subjected Zoro to an incredibly challenging test by forcing him to endure it. At another moment in the past, Kuma extracted his own memories, which were then stored within Egghead. However, it was his daughter, Jewelry Bonney, who ultimately made the decision to confront and uncover these memories.
Vegapunk has recently developed a group of advanced cyborgs, known as the Seraphim, who are modeled after the previous members of the Seven Warlords. These cyborgs have been enhanced with King's DNA to possess incredible durability, similar to that of the Lunarians.
Thanks to a substance called Green Blood, infused with the Lineage Factor of a specific Warlord, each Seraph is capable of utilizing an artificial replica of a Devil Fruit. For example, S-Bear, who is based on Kuma, can replicate the abilities of his Paw-Paw Fruit.

Decades ago, the entire family of Kuma fell victim to enslavement by the Celestial Dragons. He endured unimaginable cruelty and witnessed the tragic deaths of his parents. Adding to his harrowing experiences, he was singled out among the slaves to be hunted down in the human hunting tournament held in God Valley.
Regularly, every three years, the Celestial Dragons would select a nation unaffiliated with the World Government to host a merciless human hunting game. The participants of this cruel event were chosen from their own slaves and the unfortunate inhabitants of the selected land.
As if the game wasn't brutal already, the Celestial Dragons engaged in the manhunt received varying points for each target. This essentially resulted in a ruthless competition, completely disregarding the worth of human lives.

In the dark and grim backdrop, 38 years prior to the present events in One Piece, Kuma finally crossed paths with two individuals who would become his lifelong companions. One of them was Emporio Ivankov, his future comrade in the Revolutionary Army. The second person, previously unknown in the world of One Piece, was a young girl named Ginny.
Together, the three brave youngsters concocted a daring plan to escape from the clutches of God Valley. They were well aware that the Celestial Dragons had placed valuable Devil Fruits as rewards for the winners of their merciless pursuit. With this knowledge, Ivankov and Kuma resolved to snatch these prized possessions and harness their extraordinary abilities to aid their escape.
Based on the spoilers of One Piece chapter 1096, Kuma and Ivankov were able to acquire the Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit known as the Fish-Fish Fruit Model Azure Dragon, as well as the Paramecia-type Devil Fruit known as the Paw-Paw Fruit.
However, during their journey, Kuma and Ivankov encountered a formidable figure known as "Big Mom," who was a member of the notorious Rocks Pirates and had been residing in God Valley with the rest of her crew. Unfortunately for the Rocks Pirates, their assault on the Celestial Dragons resulted in their ultimate defeat at the hands of two renowned individuals, Gol D. Roger and Monkey D. Garp.
In a surprising turn of events, Big Mom forcefully acquired the Fish-Fish Fruit from Ivankov, which has since become widely known among fans as the fruit that she would eventually bestow upon Kaido as part of the God Valley Incident. On the other hand, Kuma made a spontaneous decision to consume the Paw-Paw Fruit, solidifying his own fate.
Whether the young boy was able to effectively utilize his powers right from the start remains undisclosed in the leaked information for One Piece 1096. Thus far, the spoilers solely suggest that shortly after consuming the Paw-Paw Fruit, he unfortunately encountered someone even more formidable than Big Mom—Saint Jaygarcia Saturn.

Despite the threatening encounter with Saturn, it is evident that Kuma will ultimately manage to endure, considering the significant role he will play in the future. According to reports, One Piece chapter 1096 concludes with Ivankov, Kuma, and Ginny surviving the God Valley Incident and seeking refuge in the Sorbet Kingdom.
The Paw-Paw Fruit grants the power of high-speed travel, thus it is plausible that Kuma utilized his recently acquired Devil Fruit ability to propel himself and his companions away from God Valley. However, it is important to note that Kuma may not possess substantial knowledge of his own Devil Fruit capabilities at that particular time.
Anticipating the official release of One Piece 1096, we hope that the complete scanlation of the chapter will shed light on the matter.
