The Secret of One Piece's Phantom Room Unveiled

Discover the secrets of the Phantom Room in One Piece! This mysterious spot in Marijoa holds parallels to Impel Down, houses a Room of Flowers, and has an underground chamber Uncover its significance now

In the latest release of One Piece, chapter 1084, Oda once again captivates the fans with exciting revelations about the Nefertari Family. Though most of the chapter focused on the conversation between the Five Elders and Cobra of Arabasta, the Revolutionary Army members and the Straw Hat Grand Fleet Commanders also had their moments to shine. Among the highlights was the collaboration between Bonney and Sabo to obtain the keys to Bartholomew Kuma's collar. Moreover, the chapter introduced the Phantom Room, a mysterious location within the Pangea Castle of Marijoa, which may have gone unnoticed by some fans.

What Is The Phantom Room?

Sabo and Jewelry Bonney formed an unlikely alliance on their quest to find the keys to the slave collars. While discussing Bartholomew Kuma, they were nearly caught by guards, prompting Sabo to quickly hide both himself and Bonney. The guards, realizing they lacked enough manpower to cover the entire Pangea Castle, blamed the disappearance of their colleagues on the Phantom Room. According to one guard, those who had seen the mysterious room were erased without a trace.

Parallels To Impel Down

The similarities between Pangea Castle and Impel Down are not lost on observant fans. In the Paramount War Saga, Luffy infiltrated Impel Down to rescue his brother Ace, but faced numerous obstacles, including the formidable head warden Magellan. After being defeated by Magellan, Luffy was imprisoned in Level Five until his friend Bon Clay, disguised as Hannyabal, came to his aid. During their escape, Bon Clay heard rumors of disappearances within the prison cells, which were later revealed to be the work of Ivankov and the Revolutionary Army, who had established their own section of the prison called Newkama Land on Level 5.5.

The disappearances within Pangea Castle, however, are different. They are not the result of freedom fighters seeking to overthrow the Celestial Dragons, but rather the work of the Celestial Dragons themselves. It is rumored that whoever discovers the legendary Phantom Room mysteriously disappears, leading fans to speculate that the high-ranking officials of Marijoa, such as Imu or the Five Elders, are responsible for these disappearances.

Fans of Eiichiro Oda are well-aware of the existence of the Phantom Room, despite it being dismissed by one of the guards at Pangea Castle. The question remains whether or not fans have already been introduced to this mysterious room or if it has yet to be revealed. Interestingly, there are a few locations within the castle that could potentially serve as the Phantom Room.

Room Of Flowers

Deep within the walls of the Pangea Castle lies a room shrouded in mystery - the Room of Flowers. It is said that only the Five Elders know of its existence. This is where Imu, the ruler of the world, is often found. The room is a lush oasis, filled with an abundance of greenery and an array of flowers - lilies being the most prominent among them. The walls are covered in ivy and other wild flowers, creating a natural and serene atmosphere. What's more intriguing is that the room has its own source of sunlight, making it an ideal location for insects to thrive. Visitors to the Room of Flowers are often greeted by the fluttering wings of butterflies. It is here that Imu spends most of their time, surrounded by the beauty of nature. It is said that in this very room, Imu cut up posters of Blackbeard, Luffy, and Shirahoshi, but kept the poster of Vivi.

If anyone were to catch a glimpse of the Room of Flowers, their existence would be immediately erased, as nobody can know about the existence of Imu. The Five Elders emphasize in One Piece 1084 that Imu must remain a secret, as they are the true sovereign of the entire world. Even the guards are not allowed to see Imu inside the Room of Flowers, as rumors could spread and the room could become known as the Phantom Room.

Underground Chamber

Aside from the Room of Flowers, there are other areas in Pangea Castle that may hold the title of Phantom Room. One of these locations is the Underground Chamber, a mysterious place where the deepest secrets of the One Piece world are believed to be kept. Fans were given a glimpse of this chamber during the Reverie arc when Imu was seen carrying shredded posters of Shirahoshi and heading towards the Underground Chamber. This underground location remains shrouded in mystery, leaving fans to speculate about what other secrets it may hold.

The Underground Chamber is believed to hold secrets from the Void Century, as hinted by Imu's sighting of a giant Straw Hat inside the chamber. It is possible that the chamber could contain other such secrets, given its frozen environment which could preserve the stored items for a long time. The chamber is heavily guarded and anyone who catches a glimpse of it would be immediately eliminated. Fans can only speculate about the contents of the chamber and await Oda's revelation of this mystery, especially since One Piece is currently in its final saga.
