Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist, stars of The Golden Bachelor, have not officially moved in together since getting married in January, according to a source who confirmed this to Us.

TMZ reported on Monday, April 1, that Gerry, 72, has been staying at his lake house in Indiana, while Theresa, 70, remains in her hometown of New Jersey. The source mentioned that the couple has no immediate plans to change their living situation, as Theresa is still working as a senior compliance officer at a financial advisory office in NJ. Instead, they are managing a long-distance relationship and make frequent visits to see each other, as shared by the insider. Us has reached out to ABC for a statement.

Gerry and Theresa had expressed their desire to relocate to South Carolina in a previous interview with People.

Gerry shared, "For the last couple of years, I've been mentioning to my family about moving to South Carolina. It's something I've been considering for a while. Then, during a private conversation with Theresa, she mentioned that her son lives near Charleston in South Carolina." He added, "Suddenly, a major obstacle disappeared. The challenge of deciding where to live and how to blend our families is no longer a concern."

Theresa mentioned that their plan was to purchase a large house for their adult children and grandchildren to come and visit.

She shared with the outlet that her daughter expressed gratitude for gaining two additional sisters. "My daughter is thankful for having two more sisters," Theresa explained. "She already has a sister-in-law, and now she has two more sisters."

Gerry and Theresa were spotted together at Joey Graziadei’s season 28 finale of The Bachelor on March 25. The camera kept showing the couple throughout the episode, especially capturing Gerry's emotional reaction as finalists Daisy Kent and Kelsey Anderson met Joey’s family. (Joey, 28, ended up proposing to Kelsey, 25.) To top it off, Gerry and Theresa even caught up with Gerry’s runner-up, Leslie Fhima, at the event.
