Gerry Turner delighted us all when he took Susan Noles, a beloved fan, aside for a private moment during the episode of The Golden Bachelor that aired on Thursday, October 19.
In order to make 66-year-old Susan feel truly treasured, 72-year-old Gerry presented her with a rose quartz, a crystal that he described as a symbol of empathy and resilience.
Gerry praised Susan for possessing those qualities that reminded him of Toni, his late wife. He regarded this as the ultimate compliment and acknowledged that these qualities were truly exceptional. Susan became emotional as she received the gift.
Gerry, who was named one of We's Reality Stars of the Year in the first issue, expressed his desire to support and uplift the women as the lead. "My goal was for them to feel confident and empowered," he shared.
Susan and Gerry Turner, Disney's representative, were interviewed by John Fleenor. During the interview, Gerry Turner discussed his approach to forming connections with the contestants. He mentioned that he didn't have a specific question in mind, but rather focused on observing their reactions, the look in their eyes, and the overall feeling of connection and warmth.
Nine women remain in Gerry’s journey to find The One.
The Golden Bachelor airs on ABC Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET. For a recap of week 4, watch the video above.
