Enel's Role During Skypiea
During the Skypiea arc, Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates embarked on their first journey to a Sky Island, where they encountered a new race called the Skypieans. Later on, the fans were introduced to another race known as the Shandians, who had their own conflicts with the Skypieans. Enel, the self-proclaimed God of Skypiea, emerged as the main antagonist, taking advantage of the tension between the two races. With incredible power bestowed by his Devil Fruit, the Goro Goro no Mi, Enel could transform into lightning and control it at will. Enel's Return In The Final Saga
One Piece is currently in its final saga where Oda will delve into the major mysteries of the story. This includes uncovering the origin of Devil Fruits, the Void Century, the winged races, and more. Enel's involvement in these secrets connects him to Dr. Vegapunk, as the automata on the moon were created by a resident of Karakuri Island, where Vegapunk is from. This suggests that Vegapunk may not have all the answers about the automata, winged races, and their descent from the moon. Enel's return is highly anticipated, as it will provide crucial information about the races in the One Piece world and pose a formidable challenge for Luffy, who has grown significantly in power.
