Joey Graziadei was feeling great after his overnight dates, but his mood took a turn when he discovered a note from Kelsey A. waiting for him at his door.
The 28-year-old tennis pro started off the episode on Monday, March 11, with Rachel Nance. It was clear that Joey and Rachel both acknowledged that she was not as strong of a connection as Kelsey Anderson and Daisy Kent. Despite this, they went on their date with high hopes. Unfortunately, Rachel, 27, ended up in the hospital after injuring her jaw while bravely jumping into the water from a tall platform in Tulum, Mexico.
Joey accompanied Rachel to the hospital for X-rays, despite her saying she was "fine." Fortunately, she was okay, and they still got a fantasy suite date card. The next morning, they woke up together, and Joey shared with the cameras that he feels "comfortable" with Rachel, imagining a beautiful life together.
Saying goodbye, Joey said, "See ya soon," and Rachel replied, "See ya, hun." While their exchange was sweet, it was not as intense as the "I love you" moments on his other dates.

Joey spent the day with Kelsey, 25, next. While on a boat, he repeatedly told Kelsey that he missed her and complimented her hair. Things took a serious turn when Kelsey opened up about meeting with The Golden Bachelor‘s Leslie Fhima ahead of their date. All three finalists had visitors from Gerry Turner‘s former contestants, but Kelsey meeting up with a still-slightly-bitter Leslie, 65, may actually affect her journey on the show, as Leslie put doubts in Kelsey’s head. (In case you didn’t watch The Golden Bachelor, Gerry, 72, picked and got engaged to Theresa Nist after basically telling Leslie that she was The One during fantasy suite week. Gerry and Theresa, 70, wed in January.)
Joey was able to (temporarily) put Kelsey’s fears at ease by sharing his own concerns about the process not working out. After Kelsey told Joey that she wasn’t just “falling in love with him” — she was fully ready to say “I love you” — he revealed he was ready to say how he felt too.
Joey expressed his feelings to the other person, admitting that he can sometimes be closed off and hold back due to the fear of sharing scary emotions. However, he has been certain about his feelings for them for a long time. He confessed, "I'm falling in love with you completely." Joey has been feeling this way for a while and is excited about the possibilities and future between them. He finally mustered up the courage to say it out loud, revealing his deep affection and the reality of his love.
After their heartfelt conversation, the couple spent the night together and enjoyed a cozy morning cooking bacon in their pajamas.
Joey and Daisy’s date followed a similar path, with Daisy taking Sandra Mason‘s advice to be fully committed with Joey. After a long makeout session in an outdoor shower (captured from multiple angles), Joey decided to express his feelings to Daisy. Last week, Daisy had mentioned that she was "falling in love" with him. Joey responded with, "I feel the same way." However, this week he apologized for his initial response, calling it "stupid."
During their conversation, Joey shared, "You told me you had genuine feelings for me and that you were falling in love, and I can't express how good it felt to hear that. I remember saying, 'I feel the same way.' I've been holding back because of fear, but I'm hopeful that things will work out. I want to make sure that when I say it, it carries the right amount of significance and that I say it correctly. I am falling in love with you, and these feelings have been growing for some time. There's no doubt about it, it's just a question of how much further it will develop."

They spent the night together, and the next morning, they talked in bed about how much fun it was to fall in love with each other.
During Daisy's date, viewers saw Kelsey spiraling as she couldn't stop thinking about Leslie's advice not to get her hopes up too high.
Kelsey expressed the importance of having a conversation before the rose ceremony. She wanted to be honest with Joey and not blindside him. She mentioned that she would rather leave now than have her heart broken later.
She left Joey a note saying, "We need to talk," which made Joey start to panic. It was a nice touch for ABC to show security footage of Joey finding the note, instead of a staged setup. It almost seemed like the producers didn't know he would be walking up to it.
Joey expressed his confusion upon finding a note on his door, stating that the usual message of "We need to talk" often brings fear and uncertainty. He felt blindsided as he hadn't done anything to warrant such a message, feeling that this situation could potentially ruin everything he had worked for. Overwhelmed by the thought of not being chosen despite giving his all, Joey was on the brink of tears.
The episode ended with a cliffhanger, leaving viewers with a "to be continued" message. The fate of Rachel seemed uncertain, with the possibility of her going home unless Kelsey decides to quit after their discussion about the note.
The Bachelor airs on ABC Mondays at 8 p.m. ET.
