Teresa Giudice, 51, shared her own story after reading the headlines about Sofia Vergara. In a recent episode of her podcast, "Namaste B$tches," Giudice recounted an encounter she had with Vergara, also 51, at an event back in 2017.
Sofia Vergara's PR representative and my PR representative spoke and apparently decided, 'Let's take a photo of Teresa and Sofia together,' stated Giudice. 'I had no interest in taking a picture with her. I never ask for photos with anyone. I'm not that type of person. When we went to take the picture, she was standing in front of me. That's not the proper way to pose for a photo. She was the rudest woman I've ever encountered,' Giudice added, while also mocking Vergara's Colombian accent.
“Observing her entire demeanor, I overheard her addressing her PR person, questioning, ‘Why are you compelling me to have a photograph taken with that lady?'” Giudice conveyed. “At that moment, I was taken aback and promptly interjected, ‘Pardon me?' I clarified, ‘I had no desire to take a picture with you.' I emphasized, ‘I would never solicit a photograph with you.'”

She said, "I thought, 'How disrespectful... You're definitely not humble. You've forgotten your roots.' It's not like she started at the top. She's completely lost touch with where she came from. She's definitely not down-to-earth. So I'm not a fan of hers."
Shortly after the podcast released the episode, a video from 2017 emerged in which Giudice was heard initially discussing the encounter. "I can't stand her, sorry. I hate to say that because I'm Italian and she's Colombian. She has an accent, a stronger accent than me," the reality star stated on a panel back then, according to TMZ. "One would think she'd be kind, you know — she's an immigrant. I'm just saying! She should be nice!"
Vergara and Joe Manganiello made headlines this month as they publicly confirmed their separation after being married for seven years. In a joint statement on July 17, the couple expressed that they had made the tough choice to divorce. They emphasized their mutual love and care for each other and requested privacy as they venture into this new chapter of their lives.
Manganiello, aged 46, filed for divorce only two days later, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split. Court documents obtained by We indicate that the former couple's date of separation was recorded as July 2.
According to a recent source, Vergara and Manganiello are currently in the process of finalizing their divorce settlement. The source shared that there are still a few unresolved matters, such as the custody of their dog, Bubbles. However, Sofia remains hopeful that they can proceed with the proceedings in a peaceful and equitable manner. Their friends are saddened by their inability to make their relationship work, but everyone agrees that this outcome is ultimately for the best.
Another insider mentioned that the couple had diverged in their interests and preferences, leading to a lack of alignment before their announcement of divorce. According to the source, she preferred socializing with friends while he preferred staying at home, resulting in limited quality time together. For approximately a year, they have been leading independent lives, thereby leading to the decision to end their relationship.
