Teresa Giudice storms out of 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' reunion after heated exchange with the Gorgas over alleged comments made about Melissa Gorga Giudice denies allegations and tensions are high amongst the cast

The tension continues in New Jersey as Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga struggle to find common ground in season 13 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Unfortunately, it seems that the reunion won't bring any resolution to their ongoing feud.

During a preview of the June 13th episode, tensions mounted as Turning the Tables author, Teresa Giudice, 51, and her brother, 43, found themselves at odds once again over family drama. The situation reached a boiling point when host Andy Cohen inquired whether Teresa had told Joe that he could "do better" than his wife, Melissa Gorga. Teresa vehemently denied ever making such a statement and even went as far as to swear on her four daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Joe Giudice.

Joe Gorga, meanwhile, alleged that Gia was the person who made the “do better” comment. He previously accused his niece of making the remark during a May episode of RHONJ.

In order to get to the bottom of the story, Teresa called Gia, who recounted her side of the story to Cohen, 55.

"I reached out to Joe Gorga regarding the wedding and asked him to do the right thing, in honor of our late grandparents, Nonna and Nonno, and because it was my mother's wish for him to walk her down the aisle," said Gia, a graduate of Rutgers University. "I never suggested that he could find someone better than my Aunt Melissa. It's disappointing that Joe is now calling me a liar." Despite Gia's denial, Melissa and her husband continued to defend themselves, but Teresa was deeply hurt. "I don't understand why you're doing this," she told her brother before breaking down in tears. "I always prioritized you and put you first. We were best friends. This is just shameful."

The author of Standing Strong abruptly stood up from the couch and exited the set, expressing her disgust and disapproval of the situation. She made it clear that the behavior displayed was not one she would condone and that she had no interest in associating with those involved. It appears that Teresa's relationship with her sibling has been strained, with the absence of the Gorgas at her recent wedding to Louie being attributed to a rumor spread by him about Melissa's infidelity.

The Love Italian Style author had openly admitted that the rumors of infidelity had been the most challenging trial for the couple's relationship in the previous year. Despite the constant stream of rumors, the "On Display" singer revealed that they continued to face them head-on and brush them off. Joe Gorga, on the other hand, acknowledged that his relationship with his sister was going through a difficult phase. When asked about the possibility of reconciliation, he remained uncertain and opted to wait and see what the future held.

The upcoming episode of season 13 reunion of The Real Housewives of New Jersey will air on Bravo on Tuesday, June 13, at 8 p.m. ET. For those looking to watch the uncensored and extended version of the episode, it will be exclusively available on Peacock on Wednesday, June 14.
