Teresa Giudice shut down speculation about her marriage to Luis “Louie” Ruelas potentially being in trouble as they approach their first wedding anniversary. Asserting her stance on her "Namaste B$tches" podcast, the 51-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey star firmly stated that there is no truth to these rumors. She emphasized her deep love and adoration for him, assuring that their relationship is not in any way unstable.
Giudice immediately dismissed the idea when cohost Melissa Pfeister asked her to address the rumors circulating online. Pfeister mentioned that some viewers speculate that Giudice and Ruelas might fabricate marriage troubles to create a compelling story arc for RHONJ. However, Giudice made it clear that this was not the case.
"I prefer to play authentically and reflect what truly transpires in my life," she clarified. "I choose not to mention that [my marriage is facing challenges] because I don't want to propagate that narrative. I don't need a fabricated storyline like that. There are already numerous aspects demanding my attention in my life."
Giudice and Ruelas exchanged vows in August 2022 following a two-year courtship. The RHONJ special Teresa Gets Married, broadcasted in May, captured their wedding ceremony.
During a recent episode of "The Newlywed Game" with We, the couple had the opportunity to reminisce about their love story. Ruelas shared that he was the one who first uttered the words "I love you," which occurred approximately four months after they started dating. Reflecting on their time together during the pandemic, Ruelas expressed how the extended periods of togetherness felt like they were equivalent to dog years, allowing them to build a strong foundation early on in their relationship.

In recent months, the couple's relationship has remained strong, but they have faced legal difficulties following the conclusion of RHONJ season 13. In a class-action lawsuit brought by Juanita Williams, Ruelas' company Digital Media Solutions was implicated for allegedly making multiple telemarketing calls to Williams, despite her being registered on the national "Do Not Call" list.
Additionally, it was revealed days later that Giudice had been served with a $17,000 tax lien due to unpaid balances for the tax years of 2020 and 2021. James J. Leonard Jr., Giudice's attorney, stated that she has been aware of her tax obligations for years and has been diligently making monthly payments to address her outstanding tax liabilities. He assured that she will continue to do so until those liabilities are fully resolved.
Ruelas' ex-fiancée, Vanessa Reiser, took further action by filing a restraining order against him. Reiser's attorney, Douglas Anton, informed Us on June 7 that Ruelas allegedly engaged an undercover operative from Richard 'Bo' Dietl's private investigation company to stalk, harass, and pose as a 'patient' of Reiser in order to intimidate her. Reiser is a licensed therapist with expertise in narcissistic abuse. In response, Dietl, 72, stated to Page Six that the hiring of a private investigator is a confidential matter.
