Teen Mom 2 Star Kailyn Lowry Quietly Welcomes Baby No 5 and Reveals She's Expecting Twins

Kailyn Lowry, a former cast member of Teen Mom 2, is expecting twins just shy of a year after giving birth to her fifth child. The 31-year-old made the announcement on the October 27 episode of her podcast "Barely Famous," during a conversation with TikTok star Allison Kuch. The two women shared their experiences of vacationing in Thailand earlier this year.

"We weren't even in close proximity, but what were the chances? And then, I suppose we both returned home with lasting mementos," Lowry playfully remarked.

Kuch further mentioned that she "got pregnant, practically on the first day" she and Rochell, currently a player for the Las Vegas Raiders in the NFL, spent in Thailand.

"I possibly became pregnant shortly before my departure, without realizing it," Lowry speculated, noting that her boyfriend Elijah Scott was not with her during her March travels. "Upon arrival, I experienced an insatiable appetite and noticed a flushed complexion, yet I dismissed these symptoms as insignificant, believing that it would be impossible for me to be pregnant."

Lowry and Scott have been romantically linked since April 2022. In July, during an episode of her podcast "Baby Mamas No Drama," Lowry confirmed the rumors and announced that they had welcomed their first child together, making it her fifth child. She revealed to guest Aurora Culpo that she even watched an episode of The Culpo Sisters while she was in the hospital giving birth.

The MTV alum, who also has a son named Isaac, 13, with her ex Jo Rivera, another son named Lincoln, 9, with her ex Javi Marroquin, and two sons named Lux, 6, and Creed, 3, with her ex Chris Lopez, recently discussed the distressing birth of her fifth son, Rio, on the show "Barely Famous" earlier this month. She expressed her disappointment that Elijah didn't cry when Rio was born, attributing it to the fact that they didn't have much time together before he was taken to the NICU. Kailyn only had the chance to hold him for a brief moment before he was whisked away, leaving her feeling extremely upset and frightened.

Lowry had a terrifying scare when she believed her son was on the brink of death, as recounted by her. During the delivery, there were six nurses attending to the newborn, as she shared. On the other hand, Scott had a different experience during the delivery.

"To me, a NICU stay feels like hovering on the brink of death," she expressed. "It was deeply distressing for me, but for him, it was almost like he effortlessly went into the NICU and swiftly emerged."

Lowry opted to keep her fifth pregnancy private, but she disclosed on Friday the contrasting emotions she is experiencing while expecting twins. "I continue to be overwhelmed with tears... This pregnancy has evoked the strongest emotions in me," she confided to Kuch. "I can't pinpoint if it's because it's twins, but I find myself unable to stop crying."

After the Philadelphia Eagles lost Super Bowl LVII in February, she confessed that it was a video of Wyatt, Jason Kelce's eldest daughter, who is now 4 years old, that pushed her to the edge. "Uncle Travy won," Wyatt innocently said, referring to Travis Kelce, Jason's brother, and the Kansas City Chiefs. She couldn't help but shed tears at this simple remark, questioning herself, "Why am I crying? What's going on with me?"
