Since they began dating in April 2022, Kailyn Lowry has been sharing glimpses of her relationship with Elijah Scott on social media. On Instagram, Lowry revealed that she had started seeing someone new after her split from ex Chris Lopez in 2020, with whom she has sons Lux and Creed. Lowry, who is also a mother to son Isaac from her previous relationship with Jo Rivera, and son Lincoln from her ex-husband Javi Marroquin, subtly confirmed the birth of her fifth child in July 2023 after months of speculation.

Lowry and Scott started dating shortly after he moved into the Delaware neighborhood where the MTV personality lived. They eventually moved in together with Lowry and her four sons in the same month their relationship began.

Almost a year later, in a June 2022 episode of Lowry's "Barely Famous" podcast, the couple gave fans a glimpse of their relationship. According to Lowry, she made the first move, and she and Scott had been together for three months at that time. In late 2022, the mother of five revealed that she had given birth to her fifth child. While she did not confirm if Scott is the child's father, the announcement followed months of speculation about their pregnancy and the arrival of their first child together.

April 2022

After ending her on-again-off-again relationship with Lopez, Lowry disclosed that she had entered a new romantic phase two years later. In a now-deleted Instagram ad promoting vitamins, she shared, "My boyfriend and I exchange photos of the Open Vitamins we consume each morning. He sends me his, and I send him mine."

Shortly after that, Lopez discovered his ex-girlfriend's relationship status through their children rather than directly from Lowry herself. In an episode of his podcast "P.T.S.D. – Pressure Talks with Single Dads" in April, he expressed his concern about his 4-year-old son informing him about every man she was involved with. He mentioned that even his youngest son, Lux, had shared information about her latest partner and now is informing him about the new one.

May 2022

A month later, the relationship between the MTV personality and Scott was officially confirmed when she posted a picture on her Instagram Story showing their hands together in bed. Lowry also shared on another social media platform that Scott had met her four children.

June 2022

During a recent episode of her podcast "Barely Famous," Lowry hilariously reminisced about her and Scott's initial disagreement. She playfully mentioned that she was in desperate need for him to accelerate their journey, as she wanted to avoid any potential bathroom mishaps before being introduced to his family.

"I experienced an intense stomach ache [while we were traveling in the car] and desperately pleaded, 'Please drive at 100 mph.' However, he responded with concern, 'I can't do that, or I'll risk losing my license,'" she recounted. "I felt incredibly embarrassed. I thought to myself, 'I don't want to meet your mom for the first time and have an embarrassing accident on her floor.'"

During that very month, Scott made his first appearance on Lowry's Instagram Story as she celebrated his birthday by sharing pictures and videos of the hardworking construction worker.

July 2022

Lowry addressed the speculations surrounding Scott's alleged unfaithfulness in an Instagram Story Q&A. When a follower inquired, "Was your boyfriend already in a relationship when you became neighbors?" the reality star clarified, "Yes, but he remained faithful to his partner. Our relationship started after they had ended things, despite persistent beliefs held by some."

February 2023

Fans started speculating about Lowry's pregnancy with her fifth child after Lopez shared a mysterious tweet on Twitter. Additionally, online photos of Lowry looking pregnant were circulating. According to InTouch, Lopez's now-deleted tweet mentioned that Lowry needed to "protect the belly."

Lowry further fueled the speculation about her pregnancy by taking to her Instagram Story on Father's Day to wish her boyfriend, Scott, a Happy Father's Day. In a now-deleted photo, she captioned it with, "& happy Father's Day to Lijie cause he's a Zaddddddddyyyyyyy."

July 2023

Lowry discreetly confirmed on a recent episode of her and Vee Rivera's "Baby Mamas No Drama" podcast that she had joyfully welcomed her fifth child towards the end of 2022. However, the identity of the father remains undisclosed.

She shared that she stumbled upon your show while she was in the hospital welcoming one of her children. During the conversation about The Culpo Sisters, which debuted in November 2022, she recalled watching the episode where you informed your parents about your potential separation or divorce and entrusted one of your sisters to care for your children.
