Reality TV personality Amanda Batula playfully hints at using clever tactics to get her husband, Kyle Cooke, on board with their pregnancy plans during an exclusive interview with Us Weekly.

Summer House star Amanda Batula may need to resort to creative tactics to start growing her family with husband Kyle Cooke.

"I think I'll just have to find a way to surprise him and get pregnant, and then he'll be happy about it," Batula, 32, jokingly shared with We on Wednesday, April 10, while talking about season 8 of the Bravo show. "But if you ask him if he's ready, he'll always say no."

The Bravo star, who tied the knot with Cooke in 2021, shared that she understands her husband’s tendency when it comes to major life changes.

She mentioned, "I feel like Kyle has always believed that he should have everything in place before taking big steps, like getting married, getting engaged, or even moving into a new apartment. He has always wanted to feel completely ready and prepared for everything." She added, "Even when it came to getting our dogs, he was a bit hesitant at first. But now that we have them, everything is going smoothly and he's happy with it."

Batula added that she knows Cooke “wants” to be a dad.

"He has a much younger niece and nephew that he’s been an uncle to. They’re older now, but I’ve seen him with them when they were younger, and he’s so great."

"He meets my friends’ kids, and he’s such a natural holding them and just goes right in for it where I’m nervous,” she gushed."

"So, he’s going to be an amazing father. We just got to get him fully on board."

Batula expressed her desire to start a family in the near future. As she approaches her 33rd birthday this summer, she feels the pressure of time ticking away. Recently, she spent time with older friends who advised her to freeze her embryos as a precautionary measure. Their suggestion left her feeling anxious about the future and the need to plan ahead for potential uncertainties.

Batula mentioned that she believes they will likely explore the option of freezing embryos.

In the current season of Summer House, Batula has expressed her desire for a different environment before starting a family. Meanwhile, Cooke shared on a recent episode of the Summer House After Show that he is concerned about feeling isolated and disconnected from society if they leave their New York City life for a suburban home.

Batula and her partner seemed stuck in their decision, but Batula's father suggested a compromise. According to Batula, they could consider moving to a family-friendly neighborhood in the city with outdoor space for the initial years, before eventually transitioning to the suburbs. This alternative opened their eyes to new possibilities.

Summer House airs on Bravo Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
