Did Summer House newbie Jesse Solomon and Danielle Olivera miss out on a potential connection?
During the Page Six “Virtual Reali-Tea” live on Thursday, May 16, fellow Summer House newcomer West Wilson suggested that Danielle and Jesse had some chemistry. Wilson mentioned, "I think Danielle would f–k Jesse in two seconds. There was sexual tension there for like a hot second."
Jesse, who is 28 years old, was on stage with West and admitted that there was a brief moment of tension between him and Danielle, who is 35. However, they never acted on it.
"I was really drunk, lying on the couch, and I thought to myself, 'Should I go with Danielle right now?'" Jesse shared. He mentioned that this thought came after he had refused to kiss her at a party.
Jesse did clarify that Danielle “never tried” hooking up with him.
West, 28, said he was into the idea of Jesse and Danielle “for the messiness.”
Both Jesse and West joined the Summer House crew in the current season, which premiered in March. While West quickly connected with Ciara Miller, Jesse didn't find a romantic spark in the house. He initially pursued Paige DeSorbo, who is in a relationship with Southern Charm star Craig Conover. It seems things didn't work out between Jesse and Danielle either.
As the season went on, Jesse appeared to prioritize his health above all else.
During the Summer House episode that aired on May 9, Jesse shared that he had a concerning sensation in his testicle, sparking fears of his cancer coming back. (Jesse had mentioned before that he had beaten testicular cancer twice.)
In a candid moment, Jesse, who is not used to showing vulnerability, opened up about his worries. "I'm trying to stay positive, but it's hard not to dwell on it," the reality star admitted during his confessional.

In another part of the episode, he had a breakdown in front of West. Jesse shared with Us that he was really scared because they were outside and he was crying for a long time. He also admitted that watching it back was not as bad as he had expected.
His breakdown lasted nearly 40 minutes, but for the show, it was edited down to just a few seconds.
He shared with Us that he wished he could have kept his emotions in check, but sometimes they just overflow when you try to hold them in.
Jesse added that the aftermath of his yearly cancer checkup was filmed for the show. He mentioned, "You’ll see on the show what happens, but I found something, the doctor found another thing." Jesse admitted, "I really thought I was in trouble."
Summer House airs on Bravo Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET and is available to stream on Peacock the next day.
