Southern Charm’s Shep Rose Expresses Doubts about Craig Conover’s Relationship, Alleging He Escapes Consequences
Shep Rose raises doubts about Craig Conover's long-distance romance with Paige DeSorbo, suggesting that Craig escapes consequences on 'Southern Charm'

On the latest episode of Southern Charm, Shep Rose suggested that he's unsure if his friend Craig Conover's long-distance relationship is successful.
"You're not part of a couple, Craig. You're a guy who has it easy because your girlfriend lives in New York," the 43-year-old commented during the December 7 episode of the Bravo show. "And your relationship isn't being closely watched. Can't you see that?"
Shep angrily confronted 34-year-old Craig for not understanding the difficulty he and his ex-girlfriend Taylor Ann Green have been facing in their breakup. Shep also highlighted that Craig keeps his relationship with Paige DeSorbo a secret, similar to their friend Austen Kroll. Shep expressed his frustration in a confessional interview, questioning whether Craig has any personal struggles that he keeps hidden from their group.
During the episode, the Charleston crew traveled to Jamaica and engaged in numerous arguments over Austen, 36, and Taylor’s secret romance, which occurred after Shep and Taylor, 28, broke up in summer 2022. Shep pardoned Austen for kissing Taylor, but Austen’s ex Olivia Flowers was not as forgiving towards him or her former BFF Taylor after the betrayal.

Taylor's tears at the dinner table over her strained friendship with Olivia led Shep to confront Craig, who was trying to mediate the situation. "You've ruined everything. Just go!" Craig yelled at Shep after his friend made insensitive comments about his relationship with Paige. Shep then mocked Craig's long-distance relationship with Paige, further escalating the tension.
Craig called Shep a "drunk and terrible boyfriend," to which Shep responded that Craig "gets away with everything in his relationship." Craig then pointed out that he has a good relationship with Paige "because I don't cheat on my girlfriend," in reference to Shep's past infidelity. Shep joked, "Well, maybe it's the other way around. Let's discuss that." Craig walked away muttering, "He's crazy."

Earlier in the season, Taylor accused Paige of being unfaithful to Craig, but he just laughed it off. He revealed in an interview with We in September that Paige had a similar reaction to the false claims. "Paige was like, 'How could I have possibly done that?'" Craig said, noting that neither he nor Paige can keep secrets as reality TV stars.
