The Real Housewives of New York City star Brynn Whitfield disclosed that she has been communicating with Shep Rose from Southern Charm after describing him as "adorable." Whitfield, aged 36, initially avoided giving a direct answer when questioned about Rose, aged 43, during an episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Sunday, August 6. However, when host Andy Cohen informed her that Rose had expressed his desire to send her a direct message, Whitfield admitted that he had already done so.
"He is incredibly sweet and intelligent. Truly a delightful person," she praised Rose. "And the topics of our conversations are always so wholesome, focusing on philosophy and dogs, which happen to be our shared passions."
Whitfield playfully revealed her admiration for Rose previously during an interview on WWHL alongside her fellow cast members from RHONY. "I have a little confession," she coyly admitted when asked about her anticipation of meeting certain Bravolebrities at this year's Bravocon. "I find Shep quite attractive. It's almost like two commitment-phobes recognizing each other."

Cohen, aged 55, expressed doubt about any connection between the two, but Whitfield stood by her statement, saying that their upbringings in Indiana and the South could create common ground. She added that they both have a tendency to play a bit dirty.
In response, Rose felt flattered and showed appreciation to Whitfield in the comments section of an Instagram post featuring the clip shared by WWHL's official account. He thanked her for thinking of him and mentioned that Cohen could have been more enthusiastic about Whitfield's bold and accurate statement. Rose joked that perhaps Cohen knows too much, which presents a challenge.
Whitfield disclosed during a July episode of the "Mention It All" podcast that she had engaged in a brief romantic encounter with Peter Madrigal, a reality star from the Vanderpump Rules franchise. Although they have yet to form a real-life love connection, Whitfield admitted that they had kissed on one occasion during Halloween in 2006.
Whitfield declined the offer to join the cast of Pump Rules, even though she was frequently seen at SUR. She knew Lisa Vanderpump prior to the show and described the glamorous atmosphere at SUR with rose petals and candles on a random Tuesday night. However, when Whitfield signed on for RHONY, Vanderpump's daughter, Pandora, expressed her disapproval by sending a screenshot of the news. Whitfield responded by explaining that she needed the opportunity because she was financially struggling.
