Southern Charm alum Danni Baird is going to be a mom!
Baird, 39, shared the news via Instagram while wishing partner Nicholas Volz a happy birthday.
"Wishing a very happy birthday to the incredibly handsome Daddy-to-be, @Nicholas.volz. I couldn't imagine embarking on this extraordinary journey with anyone other than you. I love you, and I have a feeling that your 39th year might just be your best yet xo," she wrote alongside a carousel of Instagram photos on Thursday, October 26. The collection included a picture of herself holding an ultrasound photo and proudly displaying her adorable baby bump.
Baird, who hasn't previously featured Volz on her Instagram page, has maintained a relatively low profile since departing from Southern Charm. Although she was never a full-time cast member on the Bravo series, she made recurring appearances throughout its first seven seasons, spanning from 2014 to 2021.
Baird's unexpected decision to cancel her engagement to Todd Baldtree just two weeks before their wedding surprised her fans in July 2017. Not long after, she was spotted enjoying a vacation in Cancun, Mexico, alongside Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder. At that time, Schroeder, 35, had recently broken up with Patrick Meagher.

Baird revealed the reasons behind her decision to cancel her wedding almost a year later. In an interview with The Daily Dish in June 2018, she explained that her temporary move to Greenville, South Carolina, where her fiancé's children and primary residence were located, was one of the main factors. Being distant from her home in Charleston and not being able to work on her artwork made her unhappy, and the situation became overwhelming.
Baird acknowledged that the breakup was not due to a lack of character and expressed her continued respect for Baldtree, who proposed to her in July 2016. However, it took her some time to come to terms with the reality of their split.
"For a couple of months, it was a traumatic experience. But eventually, I reached a point where I could recognize both his strengths and his flaws, understanding that they were not a reflection of my own. I choose to hold close to my heart the things I love about him," she said. "Of course, it was heartbreaking. It took about four months before I could begin talking to him again. After all, we were engaged, on the verge of marriage. It was a significant commitment."

During her time on Southern Charm, Baird experienced some tension in her friendships, particularly with her costar Madison LeCroy. In a July 2019 episode of the reality series, LeCroy alleged that her then-boyfriend, Austen Kroll, had informed her that Shep Rose had given Baird chlamydia when they were dating in the past. However, both Rose and Baird promptly refuted the rumor as untrue. Prior to the episode being aired, Baird also shared her thoughts on the situation in an interview with The Daily Dish.
"What Madison said was extremely hurtful and completely false. It was evident that her words were carefully planned, targeting both Shep and myself," she stated. "I don't believe Austen is blameless in this situation. Unbeknownst to me, they both held hidden animosity towards me, specifically."
Notwithstanding the dramatic events displayed on screen, LeCroy hinted in a December 2020 interview on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, that she and Baird had reached a mutual understanding.
“Two crazy, drunk girls going at it. Maybe I’m just the crazy one, but it’s OK, she forgives me,” LeCroy said of Baird.
