Honkai: Star Rail's upcoming Version 1.3 update, set to release in late August, has been teased with leaked information about its limited gacha banners. As fans eagerly await the second half of Version 1.1 this week, they are also looking ahead to the future of this popular sci-fi RPG from HoYoverse, the developers of Genshin Impact. In Version 1.2, the developer had already revealed three characters - Kafka, Blade, and Luka. Leaks have suggested that the developer is already working on several future characters for upcoming updates.
Although the launch of Honkai: Star Rail's Version 1.2 update is still a few weeks away, multiple leaks have already surfaced about the characters that will be introduced in Version 1.3. Set to arrive in mid-August, Version 1.3 will feature two new five-star characters: the Master Diviner Fu Xuan from Xianzhou Luofu and the mysterious Imbibitor Lunae. Interestingly, Imbibitor Lunae appears to be a new version of the starter character Dan Heng, indicating a possible connection to his backstory. The recent leaks have provided additional details about the banner rotation for the upcoming update.
A recent leak posted on the Honkai: Star Rail subreddit suggests the possible order of the gacha banners for the upcoming Version 1.3 update, which aligns with a Chinese holiday. It is speculated that Fu Xuan will make her debut as the first five-star character in Version 1.3, expected to be introduced as a Quantum character in the Preservation Path. Imbibitor Lunae is anticipated to be released during the second half of the update, coinciding with the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival on September 29th. Leaks indicate that Imbibitor Lunae will be added as an Imaginary element character in the Destruction Path.
HoYoverse has not yet released any information about the playable characters in Version 1.3. However, leaks have already given players an idea of what to expect from Imbibitor Lunae. Rumor has it that the character will be introduced as a "Story" character in Version 1.2, similar to Luocha's unplayable preview in Version 1.0. Leaked details about Imbibitor Lunae's abilities suggest that he will have a unique mechanic with his Skill, allowing him to cast it multiple times to enhance his Normal Attacks. As for Fu Xuan, there is limited information available about how they will play in Honkai: Star Rail.
Fans of Honkai: Star Rail who are interested in saving up for either of the characters in Version 1.3 will have plenty of opportunities to acquire gacha pulls. Version 1.1 featured multiple events that rewarded players with Stellar Jades, such as the management mini-game and Silver Wolf event.
