Sherri Shepherd, the 56-year-old talk show host, has generously decided to donate her old bras to a superstar who truly needs them after her breast reduction surgery.
Shepherd revealed to Entertainment Tonight that Drake has been gathering the bras that are thrown at him during performances and intends to sell them through an auction. Recognizing the significance, Shepherd decided to contribute her collection of bras, particularly those suited for individuals with larger busts, stating that Drake would benefit from them more than her girlfriend. In a recent social media post, the 36-year-old rapper from Toronto showcased a snapshot of the numerous bras he has accumulated from his concerts.
"I'm actually planning to send him a care package," Shepherd mentioned with a smile. "And it's definitely going to make him happy. These bras are specifically designed for mature women, Drake. This isn't the kind of lingerie that young girls wear. These bras are meant for sophisticated women with established financial stability, you know?" Shepherd proudly informed, reflecting on her reputation for having a prominent bust.
"I must admit, I have a deep affection for my breasts. They are not just a part of my body, but rather my trusted companions. They have been an essential aspect of my identity for countless years," Shepherd expressed, her voice filled with fondness. "Whenever I stepped onto the stage or entered a room, my presence was instantly recognized as Sherri Shepherd. People would exclaim, 'Look at those magnificent breasts she possesses!'"
Nevertheless, Shepherd eventually came to the realization that her cherished trademark was detrimental to her well-being.
As I aged, my breasts became heavier, causing grooves to form on my shoulders from the pressure of my bra. Moreover, my clothes no longer fit properly and I experienced back pain," she elaborated. "Realizing the discomfort, I decided to undergo surgery while I had the opportunity to heal."
Shepherd underwent surgery over the summer, and she is thrilled with the results of her transformation.
"I feel lighter. I feel like I can sit up straighter, and I feel more balanced now that my breasts are smaller," she went on to say. The Think Like a Man actress explains that having a smaller bust alleviates concerns about her appearance.
"Now, there are no more wardrobe malfunctions. It feels great. I feel much more confident," Shepherd expressed. "Having my breasts provided a certain kind of confidence before, but now it's pure liberation. I can engage in various activities. Just the other day, I confidently ran across the street without having to hold anything!"
Nevertheless, Shepherd remembers that there were difficulties following her surgery.
"It took me 12 weeks to heal, which meant I couldn't do anything," Shepherd recalled. "When you're in your 20s, it only takes two weeks and you're back on your feet. But for me, it was 12 weeks of healing and just sitting there."
Now, she is committed to keeping her new physique by exercising and monitoring her diet closely. "Since returning to the gym, I've been focusing on deadlifts and weightlifting, incorporating some cardio as well. I've also been making conscious efforts to make healthier food choices."
One of Shepherd's objectives is to maintain a tight abdomen. "Because now, you know, with larger breasts, there is less visibility, allowing for a potential increase in stomach size," Shepherd chuckled.
