Secret Revealed: Drake Declares Passionate Love for Seductive Red in Intimate Backstage Moments

Drake fueled rumors of a budding romance when he was seen getting close to Sexyy Red at his Brooklyn concert. The pair's subsequent hangout after the show only added to the intrigue. Sharing a backstage photo with Sexyy Red on his Instagram Story, Drake, 36, captioned it, "Just met my future wife." This was during his It's All a Blur Tour.

Dressed in all black, the rapper known as "Hotline Bling" passionately kissed Sexyy Red (also known as Janae Nierah Wherry) while the fiery-haired singer tenderly caressed Drake's head. The pair cozied up on a couch backstage after Drake's performance.

On Tuesday, Sexyy Red shared the same affectionate photo on her own Instagram post, captioning it, "I'm your favorite rapper's favorite rapper."

In a stylish ensemble, Sexyy Red donned white jeans and a corresponding jean jacket, accentuated by a shimmering silver bikini top. Adding to the glamour, she flaunted multiple diamond necklaces. On Instagram, she shared another photo capturing Drake playfully sticking out his tongue while seated on her lap.

Following Sexyy Red's enthusiastic performance as she sang along to Drake's hits at his NYC concert, the duo had a playful encounter backstage. Sexyy Red had thoughtfully shared her amazing view from the audience before getting the chance to spend time with Drake.

In a surprising turn of events, the Grammy winner himself, took to his Instagram Story on Tuesday to reveal that he had actually spotted Sexyy Red amongst the crowd during his show. As captured on the big screen at the event and later posted by the singer, Drake paused in the midst of his performance to affectionately kiss Sexyy Red on the head.

Drake's encounter with Sexyy Red occurred within a year of his highly publicized dispute with another up-and-coming female rapper, Ice Spice. In August 2022, the 23-year-old was seen alongside Drake at the 2022 OVO Fest in Canada, where he supposedly extended an invitation for her to attend.

Following Ice Spice's departure from Toronto, observant fans noticed that Drake had stopped following her on social media. Subsequently, Drake released his popular track "BackOutsideBoyz" in November 2022, featuring lyrics that included the line, "She's a 10 trying to rap, it's better on mute."

The lyric appeared to make a subtle dig at Ice Spice, who responded on Twitter that same month. "At least I'm a 10," she tweeted, accompanied by a crying laughing emoji and a girl shrugging her shoulders emoji.

In an interview with The New York Times in January, Ice Spice stated that she and Drake had resolved their conflicts. "We're on good terms," she confirmed. "We had a few conversations after that and everything is fine. There's no animosity."

Drake's relationship history caused speculation among fans regarding his drama with Ice Spice, but his last confirmed relationship was in 2021. In July of that year, multiple outlets reported that Drake had been dating Johanna Leia for several months before they made an appearance together at a Los Angeles Dodgers game. Prior to his involvement with Leia, Drake had been romantically linked to Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez. He also had a past relationship with Sophie Brussaux, with whom he had a son named Adonis in October 2017.

Sexyy Red, for her part, also has a son, Chuckie, whom she welcomed in 2020.
