Sharna Burgess often receives inquiries about her plans to have more children with her fiancé Brian Austin Green. However, she is currently uncertain about the idea of having another baby.
"I receive messages about this topic on a daily basis," Burgess, 38, responded to a fan's question about her family plans via Instagram Story on Saturday, October 7. "To be honest... we are unsure. We have a large family and although we discuss the possibility of adding one more, we haven't made a definite decision yet."
Burgess welcomed her first child, Zane, in June 2022. However, she made it clear that her partner, Green, is not a first-time parent. He has five children, including son Kassius, 21, with his ex Vanessa Marcil, and Noah, 10, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 7, with his ex-wife Megan Fox.
While Burgess expressed her love for motherhood and her joy in co-parenting with Green, she also acknowledged the challenges of having five young kids in their home. They often joke about needing a school bus for their family. But beyond the jokes, Burgess is concerned about ensuring that all the children receive equal love and attention. She wonders how they would manage if they were to have more kids, wishing for more time and days to give each child the care they deserve.
She concluded, “In the end it all depends on life and how everything is flowing.”
In a follow-up question, Burgess revealed that she and Green have “absolutely” discussed freezing eggs.
The Australia native had similar concerns the previous year. In an exclusive interview with We in July 2022, Burgess revealed that she and Green were not in a rush to have another baby. "We're both in agreement," she stated. "It's not that I don't want more kids. I just want to ensure that I can spend incredible quality time with Zane."
Though the prospect of expanding their family remained uncertain, Burgess had always been certain about her desire to have at least one child with Green.
"When we discussed having children, I made it clear to Bri from the beginning that if he had any interest in expanding our family, because he already has such a wonderful group of kids," she solely shared with Us while promoting our "Oldish" podcast with Randy Spelling last month. "I knew that I could truly fall in love with him, but I had to end things if that wasn't an option."
Burgess added: "We had that conversation early on in our relationship, and he expressed his openness to the idea, so I believed it could be a long-term commitment. ... I never expected it to fail."
