Shannon Beador Courageously Confronts 'F—ked Up' Drinking Claims on Explosive 'RHOC' Reunion Ahead of Shocking Arrest

Shannon Beador candidly addresses her drinking concerns on the explosive 'RHOC' season 17 reunion, shedding light on a controversial topic that was heavily discussed among the cast

Shannon Beador defended her alcohol consumption during the Real Housewives of Orange County season 17 reunion. The reunion was filmed a few days prior to her hit-and-run incident and DUI arrest. In the second part of the reunion, Shannon, aged 59, confronted her castmates for discussing her inclination to divulge personal information while under the influence. Heather Dubrow countered by highlighting that Shannon's behavior was becoming repetitive.

Heather, 54, expressed, "Please don't be angry with me, but it seems like you consume alcohol and contact some of us." In response, Shannon remarked, "That's an inappropriate statement to make about me."

Shannon debated that she does not struggle with alcohol addiction. "Sure, I go out for drinks occasionally. However, it is unjust for you to suggest that I require rehabilitation or that I constantly call people," she further explained.

After being arrested for a DUI in 2019, Gina Kirschenheiter offered a suggestion to Shannon regarding her approach in handling personal difficulties. In response, Shannon contended that her strained relationship with the 39-year-old Gina was primarily due to gossip portrayed on screen.

Shannon reminded Gina of a conversation they had where Shannon had shared about her tumultuous divorce from David Beador during her first season on the show. Shannon recalled that Gina had mentioned her use of alcohol as a way of coping, to which Shannon admitted that she had indeed increased her drinking during that time.

The reunion was recorded on September 7th. It was later discovered that Shannon was apprehended on September 16th for a hit-and-run incident and driving under the influence. She faced charges for two misdemeanors after driving recklessly in Newport Beach, California.

Authorities stated that Shannon drove onto a residential property and grazed the house while attempting to park her car. When the police arrived, she exited the vehicle with her dog Archie, seemingly trying to deny her involvement in driving.

After being arrested, Shannon's lawyer released a statement expressing, "I had a lengthy conversation with Shannon the previous day in which she expressed deep remorse and apologized sincerely. We will patiently await the release of official information regarding this case, and Shannon is fully prepared to take complete accountability for her actions."

Although Shannon has maintained a low profile following the incident, her fellow RHOC stars have been vocal about their views on her conduct.
