Shannon Beador responded to Tamra Judge's accusations of being a "drunk" and a "liar" on The Real Housewives of Orange County, and shared how they resolved the conflict. "It's difficult. I'm aware that those labels don't define me," Shannon, who is 59 years old, spoke exclusively to We on June 14th. She also shared that her children watched the episode with her and were upset by Tamra's comments, telling her, "Mom, that's not who you are."
When some of her fellow cast members label Shannon, it deeply upsets her. Shannon, who has three daughters with her former spouse David Beador - Sophie, 21, and twins Stella and Adeline, 18 - shared this admission.
Instead of making general characterizations about people's personalities, I try to only point out specific unkind actions that a cast member has done while on the show. I believe that avoiding damaging generalizations is important.
Shannon, Tamra, and Vicki formed a close bond during their time on RHOC and were famously referred to as the Tres Amigas. However, during season 14, tensions arose between Shannon and Tamra as well as Vicki due to Shannon's growing friendship with fellow costar Kelly Dodd. In fact, Tamra even went as far as to unfollow Shannon on social media, citing her discomfort with Shannon's relationship with Kelly. (It's worth noting that Kelly was ultimately let go from the show after season 15.)
Shannon revealed in an exclusive interview with Us in December 2021 that there have been ongoing rumors and falsehoods about her and her relationship with Tamra and Vicki for years. Despite Eddie Judge's wife insinuating that Shannon had stopped communicating with the former co-stars once she left the show, Shannon denies any animosity towards them.

Tamra's decision to join the cast of season 17 of the popular reality show was not without its challenges. In a recent episode aired on June 14, Tamra accused Shannon of being a "fake friend" for cutting ties with her after she left the show. However, Shannon refuted these claims and the two engaged in a heated argument about the truthfulness of their statements. Speaking to Us, Shannon acknowledged that Tamra was hurt about not being asked back for the show after being a part of it for a long time. As a result, she believes her friend's frustrations were directed towards her, even though Shannon was occupied with work commitments.
According to Shannon, there were times during filming when she couldn't immediately respond to Tamra, but she never completely cut off communication with her. Shannon also revealed that she had saved 150 screenshots of their conversations from the two-month period leading up to Tamra's accusation of her being a "fake friend." Despite Shannon's efforts to stay in touch with Tamra after leaving the show, Tamra allegedly began to publicly attack her character when Shannon was unable to respond quickly due to being on a cast trip during the COVID shutdowns.
Shannon found it challenging to watch season 17, as filming started when she had not spoken to Tamra for over two years. However, she revealed that they are now in a good place, but their on-screen reconciliation will not be seen for some time. Shannon also hinted at a potential reconciliation with Vicki. According to Shannon, once they agreed to become friends again, their friendship picked up right where it left off two and a half years ago.
