Surprising Twist: Shannon Beador and Ex-Husband Unite for Twin Daughters' Graduation

Shannon Beador and her ex-husband David Beador put their differences aside for their twin daughters' high school graduation. The couple were all smiles as they celebrated their children's milestone moment, showing that they can come together for the sake of their family.

To celebrate her daughters’ graduation, Shannon, who is 59 years old, took to Instagram on June 12th to share a series of photos. In one of the pictures, she can be seen posing with her ex-husband, aged 58, and their two daughters, Stella and Adeline, who are both 18. The Real Housewives of Orange County star expressed her pride in her daughters’ achievements, saying that they have grown into beautiful young women and she is excited to see what the future holds for them. She ended her post by congratulating Stella and Adeline and telling them that she loves them.

Recently, the ex-couple, who also have a 21-year-old daughter named Sophie, had another encounter before the milestone moment. Shannon recounted the incident during an interview at The Quiet Woman restaurant with Tamra Judge and Taylor Armstrong, where Jennifer Pedranti was also present. After Jennifer left, Shannon learned that her ex-husband had entered the restaurant. She approached him and asked to take a picture together for their children. Despite his inebriation, he agreed and the picture was taken.

Prior to their recent run-in, it had been five years since the Bravolebrity last spoke to David. After nearly 17 years of marriage, the couple separated in 2017 due to David's infidelity and officially divorced in April 2019. Shannon revealed that her daughters were surprisingly excited to see their parents reunite, which made her feel sad.

"Sophie called us on FaceTime and exclaimed, 'Oh my God, is this real?' David then responded by saying, 'Screw it. Let's post it. I could use some more Instagram followers.' I quickly jumped at the opportunity, but unfortunately, I ended up with a piece of green in my teeth even though I didn't eat anything green," shared the reality TV star. Shannon later shared their selfie on Instagram with the caption, "Unexpected run-in at @thequietwomancdm with @david_beador_."

The founder of Real for Real and her former partner haven't always had a cordial relationship. In fact, in October 2020, she revealed to We that David, who also has a two-year-old daughter named Anna Love with his estranged wife Lesley Beador (née Cook), is not interested in talking to her.

Despite this, Shannon remains committed to ensuring that her daughters have a relationship with their father, whom they love. She hopes that they can co-parent effectively, even though David seems disinterested. Nevertheless, they are coping with the situation as best they can.

In 2021, the former couple had a dispute regarding their daughters appearing on RHOC. David was accused of preventing their participation due to his fear of negative mentions about his new partner. He argued that he wanted to protect his new family from exposure on a reality TV show and found it concerning that the proposed limitations were not acceptable to the petitioner and her counsel, given their joint legal custody. He felt that the petitioner intended to reference him, his new wife, and their new daughter during the filming of the 16th season, which was unacceptable to him.

David Beador has been in the news lately due to his tumultuous separation from Lesley. Both parties have filed restraining orders against each other, with Lesley alleging in a June 9th filing that David had been physically abusive towards her, their children, and their pets. She also accused David of property destruction and issuing threats.

David retaliated against his ex's legal action by filing a subsequent lawsuit, labeling it as purely retaliatory. He had filed for divorce in September 2022, seeking legal and physical custody of Anna.
