Ken Jeong, the regular panelist on the Masked Singer who usually can identify the contestant, is surprisingly not the one with a confident guess this week. In a preview of the December 13th episode, Robin Thicke, 46, shares with Donut that he used to spend time with his "dear, sweet" father, Alan Thicke. This is an exclusive clip from We.
"Wow, that's incredibly kind," Robin exclaims to the mysterious contestant.
When host Nick Cannon asks if the clue was helpful, Robin confesses it wasn't, but it did reinforce his theory that Donut is Tom Jones.
"My father seemed to know everyone," Robin recalls about Alan, who passed away at 69 in 2016. "And if Donut is who I think he is, I've been an admirer of your voice and confidence for as long as I can remember. My dad had mentioned to me before he passed that you and he had become friendly."
Robin also points out a connection to a previous clue package from Donut, where the performer revealed the loss of the love of their life. "All of that connects to a single person in my heart and mind, and that person is Tom Jones, the legendary singer," Robin explains. (Jones' wife, Linda Trenchard, passed away from lung cancer in 2016 at the age of 76.)
Jenny McCarthy believes that Robin may be onto something with his guess of Jones because Donut "seems like a legendary figure." However, she chose to focus on clues that suggested a connection to a television show from the 1980s.
"Bo Duke from The Dukes of Hazzard," McCarthy, 51, informs her fellow panelists, adding, "It could possibly be John Schneider, he knows how to sing. Ken seems to like that guess, which is quite scary."
Alongside Jones, 83, and Schneider, 63, the panelists have previously speculated that Donut could be Stanley Tucci, Sylvester Stallone, Engelbert Humperdinck, and Liam Neeson.

Donut is among the last six contestants on season 10 of The Masked Singer, which began in September. Donut, Candelabra, and Anteater still have to compete for the title of Group C champion before they face off against Gazelle, Cow, and Sea Queen in the season finale on Wednesday, December 20.

Ashley Parker Angel, the celebrity revealed as S'more on November 29, shared his thoughts on the potential winners, expressing his belief that Gazelle or Cow have what it takes to go all the way. "I'm inclined to root for the group I was part of," he said in an exclusive interview with We. "Maybe that's why I'm biased!"
The Masked Singer airs on Fox Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
