The Masked Singer is famous for its intricate and challenging costumes, but Ashley Parker Angel easily handled the S’more outfit.
Parker Angel, 42, revealed to We ahead of his unmasking on the Wednesday, November 29, episode, "I had to overcome the physical challenge of wearing this large, heavy costume. The suit was difficult to move around in, as I was dressed in a giant graham cracker body with oversized marshmallow legs and huge fire boots."
Parker Angel, a founding member of O-Town and a seasoned Broadway performer, is accustomed to singing and dancing simultaneously. Nevertheless, the S’more costume presented a unique challenge for him.
"The muscles I was using were completely different," he remarked. "I really feel like, because I've been so focused on fitness in the past several years, it gave me a real advantage."

Parker Angel revealed that the show's producers had planned to give him a substantial amount of choreography while he was on the Fox competition series. Excited about the challenge, he soon discovered that performing dance moves in the S’more costume was incredibly difficult.
"I was all for taking on the choreography challenge, but once I tried it in the suit," he told Us, "I realized that it added a whole new level of physical difficulty to performing as the S’more. I'm thankful that I was able to focus on my fitness because I believe it gave me an advantage that I wouldn't have had otherwise."
Parker Angel chose to dress as the S’more because he felt that the costume "chose" him, stating that "The S’more decided it would be me." He also noted that growing up in Northern California and enjoying camping and making s'mores made the costume the perfect choice for him. He further expressed his love for s'mores and chocolate, and was impressed by the level of artistry that went into making the outfit, feeling that he lucked out with the S’more costume.
Parker Angel’s appearance on The Masked Singer was his first time performing in years. Although he believes that performing will always be a part of his identity, he is currently concentrating on expanding High Level Performance Academy, his online fitness coaching platform.
He expressed, “It’s more than just a fitness community. It’s a support group. Health and wellness have a significant impact on our mental well-being. People often overlook the mental health benefits that come from physical exercise.”
Parker Angel’s Instagram followers are likely well aware of how much time he spends working out, but he made it clear that exercise isn’t just about looking good.
