The Masked Singer's Jenny McCarthy Reveals Her Daily Affirmations for Success

Jenny McCarthy kicks off her busy day on the set of The Masked Singer with a routine of daily affirmations. Before she faces the mirror, the 50-year-old star looks deep into her own eyes and repeats, "You are more than capable, intelligent, and genuinely likable." With a gentle slap on her cheek, she embraces the added boost of confidence and tackles the day ahead with a spring in her step.

McCarthy spends most of her day on the set of The Masked Singer, currently in its 10th season. She has been a panelist on the show since it first premiered in 2019.

"This is hands down the best job I've ever had. The cast has become my closest friends," she shares with Us.

McCarthy is accompanied by host Nick Cannon and fellow judges Robin Thicke, Nicole Scherzinger, and Ken Jeong on FOX's musical guessing game, The Masked Singer. Rita Ora, a well-known pop star from the U.K. edition of the reality TV competition, will replace Scherzinger, aged 45, for season 11. The Masked Singer's Jenny McCarthy Kick-Starts Her Day With Affirmations and a Slap in the Face

Jenny McCarthy has a busy day on the set of The Masked Singer — after she completes her daily affirmations.

In the latest issue of We, McCarthy, aged 50, shares, "As I gaze into the mirror, I affirm to myself, 'You possess ample capabilities, you are intelligent, and indeed, people genuinely appreciate you.'" Following this, McCarthy uplifts herself by giving her face a gentle slap and proceeds with her day with an added spring in her stride.The majority of McCarthy's day is dedicated to being on the set of The Masked Singer, currently in its 10th season, where she has served as a panelist since the show's inception in 2019.

"This is the best job I have ever had. The cast has become my closest friends," she shares with Us.

McCarthy is accompanied by host Nick Cannon and fellow judges Robin Thicke, Nicole Scherzinger, and Ken Jeong on the musical guessing game show, airing on FOX. Rita Ora, a popular pop star from the U.K. version of the reality TV competition, will temporarily replace Scherzinger, 45, for season 11.

Before heading to set, McCarthy covers her roots. “So the world doesn’t discover my secret: I’m not a natural blonde,” she jokes to Us.

11:30 a.m.

McCarthy excitedly shares that her glam team, who she describes as a blend of artists, architects, and magicians, are her invaluable support on set. She gratefully acknowledges that they are able to transform her into her character within a mere three hours.

3:00 p.m.

“Playing dress-up in gorgeous gowns does not suck,” McCarthy adds.

Prior to shooting, McCarthy takes a moment to document her entire ensemble with a selfie. She emphasizes her strong aversion to tardiness, stating, "I have a compulsion to ensure that I am never late. If the golf cart is not awaiting my arrival, I will go to great lengths and sprint in high heels."

McCarthy gushes that the Masked Singer crew “loved welcoming" Ora, 32, into the fold for season 11.

11:00 p.m.

McCarthy heads home several hours later — and almost immediately hits the hay.

"I express my gratitude for the blessings in my life through prayers," she shares with Us. "I do hope that my snoring doesn't disturb my husband, Donnie Wahlberg, or myself while we sleep. When we're apart, I find it difficult to fall asleep unless I have him next to me on FaceTime."
