Ken Jeong believes he knows the identity of the person behind the Candelabra mask on The Masked Singer. In an exclusive sneak peek of the episode airing on Wednesday, November 8, Jeong, 54, suspects that Mariah Carey, who was previously married to host Nick Cannon, may be the one wearing the mask.
"Do not be angry with me, Nick," Jeong states. "At this moment, my intuition strongly suggests that there is a connection between you and someone else. Perhaps someone like Mariah Carey, given the intense emotions involved."
Cannon, on the other hand, remains skeptical. "I believe I would recognize the mother of my children," asserts the 43-year-old comedian, who has two 12-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with Carey, aged 54.

Jeong highlighted that the clue package of Candelbra featured a butterfly, possibly implying Carey's significant album titled "Butterfly" from 1997.
In a sudden turn, Jeong altered his guess to Regina Hall. Cannon humorously commented, "He initiated in outer space but successfully landed the plane."
Jeong's co-panelists, including Robin Thicke, Nicole Scherzinger, and Jenny McCarthy, often tease him for his extravagant guesses. However, he has successfully identified several performers in the current airing of season 10. During the season premiere, he quickly realized that Rubber Ducky was Anthony Anderson, and in subsequent weeks, he effortlessly recognized Diver as Tom Sandoval and Royal Hen as Billie Jean King.

While Carey might appear to be an unexpected guess, The Masked Singer has consistently featured numerous renowned celebrities throughout the years. Interestingly, one celebrity, much like Carey, has been frequently speculated. In the September season 10 kickoff special, Demi Lovato was revealed to be the individual behind the mask known as Anonymouse.
Lovato, 31, humorously informed the panelists during her clue package that they had been inaccurately guessing her since the show's debut in 2019. She jokingly remarked, "It's about time I made an appearance."
In the fifth season, Wiz Khalifa participated as Chameleon and achieved third place. Following his elimination, he expressed to Entertainment Weekly that he decided to join the show because he watches it with his family, including his 10-year-old son Sebastian, whom he shares with his ex- Amber Rose. He further commented, "Everyone was already into it. I saw it as a chance to have a good time and bring some laughs to the competition."
In season 10 of the Fox series, Wednesday's episode will showcase Group C as the final round of new performers. Titled "The Masked Singer," the show features Group A's last three contestants, namely Cow, Gazelle, and S'More, along with Group B's remaining masks, Husky, Sea Queen, and Tiki. Don't forget to tune in to Fox on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET to catch the show.
