RHOC's Shannon Beador Finds Solace in Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson After DUI and ‘Toxic’ Relationship

Shannon Beador, star of RHOC, reveals the unwavering support she received from fellow cast members Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson after her DUI and hit-and-run incident, highlighting their strong bond amidst challenging times

Shannon Beador, a star on The Real Housewives of Orange County, has found solace in the support of Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson. Shannon, 59, expressed her gratitude towards Tamra, 56, and Vicki, 61, during an exclusive interview with We at BravoCon on Saturday, November 4. This comes after a difficult period for Shannon, which included a DUI and hit-and-run arrest.

Shannon, who was arrested in September, and later charged with three misdemeanors related to the DUI accident, remembered how Tamra almost altered her filming schedule upon discovering the incident.

On the day my DUI was made public, Tamra was about to leave for Scotland to appear on Peacock's show, "The Traitors." Despite not wanting to go, she genuinely supported me during that difficult time, Shannon recalled.

Tamra added, "All I wanted was to snuggle in bed with her, watch TV, and then get room service."

After boarding the plane, Shannon revealed that she ended up staying at Vicki's house. "She really looked after me. These are the kinds of friends who truly matter in life," she emphasized.

Shannon, who was sentenced to three years of probation earlier this week, is now focused on the future. Letting go of the past, particularly her connection to her ex-boyfriend John Janssen, has been one of her greatest accomplishments.

"I have gained valuable self-awareness since the incident, and I have been actively working on removing toxic and detrimental elements from my life," Shannon shared with Us.

Tamra and Vicki, along with Shannon, known as the Tres Amigas, acknowledged that the main source of the negative energy in Shannon's life stemmed from her separation from John, her former partner, who is 59 years old.

“You were in a toxic relationship, and now he's gone,” Tamra stated, to which Vicki responded, “We have all encountered toxic individuals, and Shannon learned the importance of removing them the hard way. It was a valuable life lesson for her.”

Shannon verified with Us that John is no longer present, following their sighting together last month following her accident. John visited Shannon's residence on September 19.

Shannon gained attention in September when she was arrested for alleged reckless driving in Newport Beach while under the influence. According to TMZ, Shannon accidentally hit a house while attempting to park her car in a residential area.

In October, Shannon addressed the recent events in a video posted on her Instagram Story, acknowledging the lapse in her online presence. She expressed her current inability to comment on the matter but assured that she plans to share her thoughts honestly and openly when the time is right. Subsequently, court documents obtained by Us revealed that Shannon was charged by the Orange County District Attorney with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol and a second count of driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level exceeding .08 percent. The documents also disclosed that her blood alcohol level at the time of arrest was over .20 percent.

Shannon faced an additional charge of causing property damage and fleeing the scene.

On Thursday, November 2, US authorities confirmed that the reality star received a three-year informal probation sentence. In addition, she is required to pay fines, fulfill 40 hours of community service, and successfully complete a nine-month alcohol program.

After her sentencing, Shannon expressed her gratitude that, besides herself, no one else was injured in the incident. In a statement, she acknowledged the valuable lessons she has learned from her grave mistake that night, realizing that driving under the influence for any distance is unacceptable.
