Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador will not face jail time following her September arrest.

The Bravo star, age 59, has been sentenced to three years of informal probation on November 2nd. She was arrested and charged with a DUI and hit-and-run. In addition, she is required to pay fines, complete 40 hours of community service, and finish a nine-month alcohol program. TMZ was the first to report this news.

Beador was officially charged by the Orange County District Attorney on October 27th. The charges include one count of driving under the influence of alcohol and a second count of driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level higher than .08%. This information comes from court documents obtained by us last month. It is worth noting that her blood alcohol level was determined to be over .20 percent at the time of her arrest, according to the documents.

Additionally, Beador faced a third charge related to a hit-and-run incident involving property damage. These three charges against Beador are categorized as misdemeanors.

In September, Beador was apprehended for driving recklessly in a Newport Beach neighborhood in California. According to TMZ's report, she had veered onto a residential property and grazed a house while trying to park her vehicle. Allegedly, Beador then stepped out of her car with her dog, posing as if she was merely walking her pet when the police showed up.

After being arrested, Beador's lawyer, Michael Fell, issued a statement expressing her deep regret and remorse for her actions. Fell emphasized that he had personally spent a significant amount of time with Shannon the day before and informed that they would patiently await the official information regarding the case. Furthermore, Fell assured that Shannon is fully prepared to take complete accountability for her actions.

Beador finally spoke up on October 17, a month after the incident took place.

"I realize it has been some time since I last posted and there has been much discussion about the recent events," she expressed in an Instagram Story video. "However, I am currently unable to provide any comments. Rest assured, there will come a moment when I can, and when that time arrives, I will be transparent, truthful, and genuine."

She gave followers a glimpse of her dog, Archie, before concluding her statement.

“Right now, I’m focusing on getting healthy, getting back to myself and walking Archie,” Beador shared.

Shannon Beador's close friend, Jeff Lewis, has shared his thoughts on the situation, dispelling rumors about Beador having an alcohol problem. Lewis believes that Beador is dealing with various personal challenges and has likely been relying on alcohol as a coping mechanism. However, he does not believe that she is an alcoholic. In September, during an interview on SiriusXM's Jeff Lewis Live, Lewis stated, "I am glad to share that she will be starting counseling this week, which is a positive step."
