Shannon Beador, 59, has been charged with a hit-and-run and DUI just one month after her arrest in September. The Orange County District Attorney has charged her on Friday, October 27, with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood alcohol level exceeding .08%. According to the documents, Beador's blood alcohol level was measured at over .20%.

Beador faces three misdemeanor charges, including a hit-and-run with property damage. In September, she was arrested for driving recklessly in Newport Beach, California. According to TMZ, Beador entered a residential property and grazed a house while trying to park her car. When the police arrived, she allegedly pretended to be walking her dog, Archie.

Following her arrest, Beador's attorney, Michael Fell, issued a statement expressing that he had spent a significant amount of time with Shannon the previous day. He stated that she exhibited deep remorse and apologized sincerely. Fell mentioned that they would be awaiting the official details of the case as they unfolded, emphasizing that Shannon was fully prepared to take complete responsibility for her actions.

Beador’s pal Jeff Lewis also echoed similar sentiments as he claimed that the reality star was going to seek help.

Shannon Storms Beador, as per her close friend Lewis, is not believed to be an alcoholic. Instead, Lewis believes that Shannon is currently facing several personal difficulties and has possibly been relying on alcohol as a coping mechanism. However, he clarifies that she does not fit the description of an alcoholic. In September, Lewis revealed on his Sirius XM show Jeff Lewis Live that Shannon will begin counseling that week, which he expresses happiness about.

After being arrested almost a month ago, Beador finally spoke up, assuring her followers that she would share more genuine information about the incident when the time was right.

"I realize it has been a considerable amount of time since my last post, and there has been much speculation surrounding recent events," she revealed in an Instagram Story video in October. "Regrettably, I am unable to provide any comments at this moment. However, there will come a time when I am capable, and during that period, I fully intend to be transparent, truthful, and sincere."

In the clip, Beador took her pup on a walk giving fans a glimpse of the pooch, and added,” Right now, I’m focusing on getting healthy, getting back to myself and walking Archie.”
