The royals are not immune to repeating outfits, making them just like the rest of us. In fact, Princess Kate was spotted wearing a stylish navy blue pinstripe suit by Holland Cooper twice within a span of a week, debunking the notion that it is a fashion mistake rather than a fashion sin.
Kate, aged 41, debuted the ensemble during a meeting with Apple CEO Tim Cook on September 29th. The outfit consisted of a blazer adorned with gold buttons and high-waisted trousers. To complete her look, Kate wore a beige turtleneck, which is suspected to be a tribute to the late Apple co-founder, Steve Jobs, known for regularly sporting a similar style.
Cook, aged 62, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet the Prince and Princess of Wales. He shared that their discussion covered a variety of topics, including the environment, mental health, and other significant matters.
William, 41, for his part, looked dapper in a navy blue suit teamed with a light blue button-up shirt. Cook also opted for a dark blue ensemble.
During her visit to Fitzalan High School in Wales to commemorate the start of Black History Month in the U.K., Kate reintroduced the suit she had previously worn with Cook. On Tuesday, October 3, she opted for a fresh twist by swapping the turtleneck for a sleek white blouse. Accompanied by pointed-toe pumps and sporting loose curls, Kate effortlessly showcased her talent for reusing outfits - a trait she has been recognized for over the years.

Kate wore the Alexander McQueen coat dress to daughter Princess Charlotte's christening in 2015 and then again at brother-in-law Prince Harry's wedding to Meghan Markle in May 2019. She chose to wear it for a third time at the Anzac Day services in April 2022. Kate was also spotted wearing a red Eponine coat earlier this year, which she had previously worn when visiting the National Portrait Gallery archives in May 2021.
Kate often repurposes accessories, shoes, handbags, and jewelry, in addition to her choice of specific apparel. The mastermind behind her flawless wardrobe is stylist Natasha Archer, with whom she has collaborated since 2007. Archer's remarkable contributions to the royal family earned her a Royal Victorian Order in May 2019.
Kate's style, influenced by both Archer and the late Queen Elizabeth II, has been shaped through guidance and inspiration. According to royal expert Bethan Holt, many of the Duchess of Cambridge's actions and fashion choices have been learned from the queen. Holt also noted that like the late monarch, Kate utilizes color and symbols to convey messages through her wardrobe. Queen Elizabeth II peacefully passed away at the age of 96 at Balmoral Castle in Scotland on September 8, 2022.
